« The Nyton is an older property, and has all the problems that come with that. Our host was very amenable, and the food was A1. Our room was big enough and the bed was very comfortable. The garden is large and there are several animal visitors to watch for. Fine for a stopover or short stay. »

« The Red House is a delightful old, large three story town house in a more up-market part of Grantham, if there is such a thing. Large room with high ceilings and original features - not to everyone's taste but perfect for me. Very quiet and peaceful but easy walk to the town center. As a renovated old building the facilities are, naturally, not like a modern hotel. but everything worked fine and the host was charming. « Nous avons passé une bonne nuit au Rose Marie Guest House. L'hôte est très sympathique et le petit-déjeuner excellent ! L'hôtel est un peu défraichi et mal insonorisé, mais tout à fait convenable pour une nuit, avec tous les équipements nécessaires. »

« Property bore no resemblance to the picture on the website. Outside area full of weeds. Paint peeling off building and stairs. Window blinds filthy and mouldy. Washbasin tiny. No soap or toiletries. No bedside table or bedside light. No chair. No hangers in cupboard which had a door hanging off its hinges. Kettle useless and wouldn’t boil. No breakfast offered. « Nous avons passé une nuit dans ce Guest House, très confortable, avec TV, sèche cheveux, café/thé dans la chambre. Le lit était immense et de qualité, salle de bains à part mais privatif, est nos hôtes étaient charmant. Je connaissais le lieu parce que j'ai grandi pas loin. Je recommande vivement ce Guest House. »

« Despite all the information you have about the location accommodation, I found it very difficult to locate. However when I finally arrived, the host was very welcoming and the accommodation was very warm. The only thing I noticed was that there were invoices from probaly a previous occupant in one of the bedroom drawers and some earpods left in the lounge. Maybe their cleaner needs to be more vigilant. »

« The night we endured was terrible, it smelt of faeces all night, loads of people coming in and out shouting, it sounded like someone tried getting in our door around midnight, the shower was contaminated, I wouldn’t be surprised if there wasn’t a case of legionella within the water, the bed was very uncomfortable and didn’t feel secure, the sink had no plug, and Unknown marks left on walls, 1/10 would not recommend »

« Overnight stay in Peterborough to catch a show at the New Theatre which is 5 minutes walk up the road. Checked in with ease, friendly lady to greet us, check in was super quick. The room was spacious and well equipped impressed with the little kitchenette, although we didn’t cook our own food. The only thing I didn’t like was laminate flooring in the room, which was covered in lots of scratches from what looks like years of high heels walking on it. « There was really little to recommend this property. There was an appalling smell in the bathroom (presumably from the drains) which permeated into the lounge area. The area wasn't very nice. It was up two flights of stairs which wasn't easy for me to cope with. There was an issue on check-in as the email that was sent an hour before did not correspond to the actions required for the parking space and we had to ring up about it. Someone else parked in our designated space on our final night...

Great stay

"Great stay, new hotel, clean, comfortable bedroom. I will definitely go back to this hotel if traveling to Cambridge. But it is much better to have car as it’s quite remote."

"Très bonne chambre avec tout le confort nécessaire sauf le canapé qui était trop profond donc pas très confortable. Cuisine bien équipée avec vaisselle, frigo, micro-onde, four. Lit et salle de bain très agréable"

"Hôtel très propre rien à dire, lit confortable, ménage effectué quotidiennement. Seul bémol et non des moindres / pas de café ! Machine en panne et pas de solution à part les sticks en poudre … dur !"
