'House was great for a family gathering.We orderd the sheet package that we had to pay extra for but had to wash a few of the comforters that were dirty. Overall I would stay here again.'

'The house is very nice, it was large enough for our group of 11 people and 2 dogs. The house is equipped with everything you need to feel at home. The pool table was a plus. My only complaint about the house is the mattress in the bedroom off the kitchen, it was very uncomfortable, my husband slept on the sofa all weekend. We had a good time and we would go back again.'

'Overall good experience. I would stay again and I would recommend it for the price range. We went to Jack Frost skiing and tubing for the weekend. As advertised, there are decent fees associated with cars and per person. So just keep that in mind when booking.'

'Dog specific resort! No fishing around for pet policies and weight restrictions, etc. Near a busy road, that's the only minus. Awesome communication, cleanliness, location ...minutes from hikes and gorgeous mountains. A win! '

'Beautiful place that was peaceful and your own. Had pretty much everything you would need during your stay. The location is truly unique with gorgeous views. Its off the beaten path and peaceful. Just be mindful if you visit with a CCW permit you'll be in MD in no time without warning. We loved our stay. '

'Friends and I recently stayed at Ledgestone Lodge for a long weekend. Everything was perfect from start to finish. The hosts were attentive and quick to respond to any question. They even were kind enough to ship us something that was forgotten, free of charge! The house was immaculate and so spacious. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to grill and cook which is not common for a rental. The huge dining table let us all sit around and spend time together. I can’t say enough...

'We had a lovely time staying Christine and Shawn’s home. The amenities within the community are great. Hawley is a 15 minute drive away and has a great small town feel with loads of antique shops. There are some good hikes near by and the lake is beautiful. We had trouble trying to fit everything into one weekend. The house is clean and cozy and Shawn and Christine send you loads of info and recommendations making the trip easy and enjoyable '

'Very pretty, very cozy, had everything we needed was nice and warm fire place already lit as we walked in,, lots of places to eat and a lots of kitchen tools plan on trying out the summer great view of the frozen lake we didn’t try but we watched family’s play on the lake very beautiful the whole experience '

'The care bear cabin was a cozy getaway. Kitchen was stocked with everything you may need and had ample space for everyone to mix and mingle. '

While it’s a bit more basic in terms of amenities, the location is perfect for skiing and offers a peaceful getaway. Just a heads-up—the owner’s advice about needing a 4x4 in winter is definitely true—one of our family members in a Tesla couldn’t make it. The kids had a blast, and the Internet worked perfectly....
