« This lake house was the perfect escape! The peaceful surroundings and gorgeous lake views made for a truly relaxing experience. The house was comfortable, spacious, and had all the amenities we needed. Whether we were lounging by the water or enjoying the cozy interior, it was a fantastic stay. And the kids loved getting out on the lake with the kayaks - there were like 4 or 5 at the house - it was basically a small fleet!! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet retreat! »

« the property is beautiful and incredibly serene. we loved seeing deer in our backyard and going in the fall with the leaves all around was gorgeous. wish the lake was a bit closer but the house itself was cozy and extremely clean with everything from dish soap to pre made ice cubes. communication with host was wonderful and she is extremely prompt about replying »

« My family loves this property. House has plenty of room to accommodate everyone with feeling crowded. The 2 game rooms are fantastic as well as the hot tub. Karly is a pleasure to work with and responds qyickly to any questions. This is our 3rd stay here and we always have a wonderful vacation! »

« Overall the place was nice, a lot of deer which my wife & loved to watch, even had some come by while in the hot tub. There were some issues with plumbing, but the owners did all they could to fix, but we couldn't really use toilets or shower for last night there. They made it right for us & didn't ruin trip too much, really responsive & good to deal with »

« Overall we had a great stay. Everyone had their own rooms and we had plenty of room to do what we wanted. Linda was a great host. The only complaint and what we felt was a violation of privacy was the camera they had over the hot tub that went off everytime you were in or around it. The description they gave said it was up high over looking the driveway which would have made sense but to be looking at people while they are in the hot tub or possibly doing something else is highly inappropriate. »

« This cottage is spotlessly clean and thoughtfully appointed with a nice Kerig (with coffee, etc.), fluffy towels, soft linens, listings of nearby restaurants, trails, activities, everything you need to cook a meal, etc. It is located in a lovely woodland lot in a quiet area, and has a wrap-around porch, fire pit, outdoor table and chairs, everything you need. « Great place! The kids had a blast with the hot tub and pool table and everyone appreciated how close it was to Jim Thorpe. My only critiques would be that we could’ve used a few more bath towels and the kitchen could’ve been better stocked with a few more essentials like measuring cups. However, these were very minor issues and didn’t take away from our experience at all. I only mention so that maybe they can be remedied for future guests. »
