« Funky little place, but clean and spacious. Nice big tv, and a WONDERFUL King sized bed. We were exhausted on arrival, slept like babies for 11 hours. As cheap as you're going to find around here, and each room is a separate little cottage, so it was Very Quiet. »

« The kitchen is well stocked with all the basics, including things like cooking oil and spices. The bathroom included shampoo, conditioner, and body wash (the listing doesn’t specify this). The layout is odd—the bedrooms are tiny and the beds are really crammed in there. The bathroom is huge, probably larger than the bedrooms. The "living room" is more of a foyer and definitely not set up for any more than 2 people. The furniture and decor is kind of random, like they raided someone's grandma's...

« Carmel Valley is so beautiful and this was a delightful place to stay. The garden and hot tub are a nice touch. Having a small kitchen and good sized refrigerator is another plus. I would definitely come back for another stay. »

« We had the most fabulous stay in this cottage with our dog. The house was very light, cute and clean. Everything was as described. The location in PG is close to the beach, great restaurants, Carmel and wineries. This place is perfect for 1-2 people. Our dog loved the fully enclosed yard. The host was easy to communicate with. We would stay there again! »

« The Sea Otter cottage offers a peaceful, secluded spot where you are surrounded by nature. Beautiful sunsets are breathtaking and observed from the cottage, the patio or the beach. Steps away is access to costal trails yet it is conveniently located to attractions, dining and shopping. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked.A wonderful place to enjoy your morning coffee. Thank you for sharing this special historic place! »

« Moonglow was a perfect little paradise for my husband and I. The location is close to the airport and Carmel, but you wouldn't know that anything else was close once you drive up the driveway. It's secluded and serene. I wish the weather had been a little nicer to sit out on the deck. Diane and Check were great to visit with. We had a wonderful time, even sitting in the hot tub while it was raining. So many thoughtful touches- handwritten note, a bottle of wine, and chocolates. »

« The only great thing about this listing were the beds. It was next to the main road entering Carmel so it is noisy and the property is actually not a home (this site is called vacation rentals by owners, right?) it is a run down inn. The bathroom has not been renovated in ages and the drain let off a sulphur scent that could be smelled in the bedroom. The description mentions an outdoor terrace but it is just an unappealing space off the parking space. »

« This was the perfect get away from a Mn arctic blast in January. Sarah was responsive and helpful with every question we had and Mark was gracious in orienting us to the property and cottage upon our arrival. The cottage was small, comfortable and cozy which was perfect for our needs and the view was beautiful. The location was nice with easy access to Point Lobos and other trails. We truly enjoyed our stay at this property and would love to visit again. »

« We had a delightful stay. The owners could not have been more kind or accommodating. There was a rain and heavy wind storm during our stay and the property lost power. The owners bent over backwards to make sure we had light and were comfortable. The property itself is gorgeous and we had everything we needed in the guest cabin, which was new and modern with high ceilings and four glass doors to view the garden and gorgeous cypress trees.
