'Mara Major Camp is the perfect place to stay for an authentic Kenyan safari experience. The lodge staff are local Maasai that truly make the place special. 'Het personeel doet er echt werkelijk alles aan om je verblijf onvergetelijk te maken. Iedereen is vrolijk en vriendelijk en niets is teveel moeite. Iedere avond stond er een heerlijk buffet van lokale gerechten en speelde Frank liedjes op zijn gitaar. De lodge ligt ideaal langs een rivier. 'We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at Mara Duma in a triple tent. The tent was right on the Talek River and we slept to the sounds of hippos grunting and frogs. We indicated by mail, weeks in advance, that we would like to do all game drives. 'マラ川に沿って建っていて一日中野性のカバが見られるので決めました。 夜もカバが聞いたことの無い声で鳴いていて笑えました。 食事は3回ともコースで沢山出ました。 スタッフもとても親切で楽しく過ごせました。 ただ、野性動物優先で大切にしているので良いのですが、カバが敷地に入ってこないように電線が張り巡らされていて、夜もカバを見られるようにライトアップがあります。 自家発電なので人に回る？電気が少なく１日のうち4時間半しか電気がつかなかったのは不便でした。 ネットは全く使えなかったので知り合いが生きてるの？って国際電話をかけてきました。 せめて夕方から夜には電気が欲しいです。'
