« Visited Newcastle to meet up with family. Tighes Hill was close to all the places I needed to be. It was a quiet location, easy to find, coffee shop across the road. The rooms in the Funky Terrace were a good size. Met up with the cleaner as we were leaving - she is lovely. »

« We really enjoyed our short get away in Merewether. The accommodation was perfect for our needs. There’s so much to see and do nearby. We enjoyed, golf, spectacular beach walks and yummy food. What a treat! »

« Spent a long weekend with my extended family (Group of 12). Plenty of room for us all and great location. Undercover pool was fantastic as the weekend was super hot. »

« The view and location of this property is definitely its draw card. Semi-updated property with refreshed living areas but very dated (“original”) bathrooms. The main bedroom balcony has been overtaken by a climbing plant that needs a serious pruning! Was great to have a Nespresso coffee machine in the kitchen but the coffee pods left with it weren’t actually compatible. Had to contact the property managers a few times as check in details weren’t received via SMS, but they were responsive and...

« The house was amazing with spectacular views across the lake. The area is very quiet with little no tourists or holiday visitors- perfect for a family or weekend away with friends. The house was spacious with lots of room for entertaining and relaxing. The pictures reflect the property listing. Would be great if you had a boat as the launch ramp is close by and you can moor your boat at the jetty. There are lots stairs so made for a good workout getting around the property. « Located right on the beach, but away from the crowds of the more well known Newcastle beaches, this property was ideal for our Christmas stay. Our extended family of 10 had ample room to connect together, or to find a quiet corner.A little more attention to routine maintenance would add to the appeal and presentation of the property though. »

« Was great size home to cater for our whole family. Ideal location for beach access . The pool was great for when not at beach . »

« We were coming to Newcastle to pick up our daughter and thought we would make a holiday of it. It is a great location as it is so easy to walk to the beach. The place is fully self contained so it was like being in your own house but in a better area. »

« We never received confirmation, payment details or check-in instructions from Stayz or this agent. I had to call multiple times (and be put on hold) before they finally sent through text messages. They also never reply to their messages on Stayz, so every time you have a question you have to call and wait to be put on hold. I never even received the unit number of the accommodation. « We had a five nights stay at Fishing Point this Xmas with grandparents and a friend’s family. A great thing for this property is multilevel living spaces which can accommodate large and diverse groups like us. The main bedroom, a suite and the living room have unblocked direct Lakeview.
