The Captain’s Quarters is an apartment centrally located in the heart of Nags Head. This newly renovated 600 SQFT apartment is located just steps from the beach and it has everything you need for a great vacation. The Old Nags Head style covered-porch faces south and has views of the beach access. The bedroom has plenty of closet space and a queen size bed. The newly renovated bathroom has a full size tub shower and a 36" vanity. The living area has an open floor plan with a full size kitchen, dining area and living room. The living room has a couch, coffee table and flat screen TV. The covered front porch is located just off the living room. It is a great place to take in the salt air and relax. The apartment is a quick 1 minute walk to the beach. The Albatross Street Beach access is located only 300' (less than a football field!) away. The apartment is within walking/biking distance to many well renowned sites on the Outer Banks, including, Jockey's Ridge State Park (via signaled Hollowell St crosswalk), the new (2017) Town of Nags Head Dowdy Park, The Nags Head Fishing Pier, Tortugas Lie Restaurant and many other attractions. The apartment is also within Biking distance to the YMCA via the Town of Nags Head's new Multi-use path.

This is a great place for a couple or a small family looking for a spacious vacation rental!

Short walk to beach
We had a nice time and the location was great. The unit was clean. I would recommend adding a kitchen dish cloth and towels, a toaster, pillowcases for the 2 extra pillows, and hangers in the bedroom closets. These are all things that can easily be fixed.

Great location, close to beach, restaurants, sporting goods store and shopping. We were disappointed in a couple of things: Was advertised as a full kitchen, however….. The large stove burner did not work No toaster to make morning toast Overall would gladly book again

Cute home, perfect location
We had the best time staying at the Captain’s Quarters during our brief weekend stay! The setup was perfect, the condo was updated throughout, the couch and bed were comfy and cozy, and the location was perfect. Not only was it in easy proximity to the beach (you can see the dunes/ walkway from the driveway), but it was a good location in proximity to its surroundings. Iain was easy to communicate with and provided great recommendations! I highly recommend Captain’s Quarters for your stay!

Very nice apartment with a nice deck. Very clean and well located in Nags Head. We enjoyed cooking breakfast in the kitchen, relaxing at night by watching tv and slept well! Definitely a must rent in Nags Head!
