« There may not be a ton of options in Goldendale, but even if there were, I would pick this house every time. Incredibly clean, easy walking distance to downtown, very comfy beds, well stocked with everything we needed (and more), beautifully decorated, and terrific communication with the owner. I can't say enough good stuff about this house and would highly recommend it. 10/10 »

« No heat furnace filters were TOTALLY impacted with dust —no healthyNo GFI outlets by sinksVery poor lighting to go down to the entrance also obstructions in the pathway (irritation lines were laying above ground on the pathway) this could be an okay rental but not in its current condition »

« We truly enjoyed our stay here! The rec room was a fun bonus and where we probably spent most of our time. There was a snafu w/ the heater on our second night, but the owner was super responsive and provided a solution. »

« We enjoyed our two night stay in Lyle. The view from the house and deck is amazing. We also appreciated the well-stocked kitchen with all necessary utensils and appliances to cook several meals. Host was responsive and helpful. »

« Super cute property with gorgeous river views. I rented the place for a birthday weekend with friends and we had a great time. The location is fantastic and even though the place is close to the road, it doesn’t feel that way with the river so close. A few pieces of feedback: a real sponge would’ve been nice to do dishes (we were left with only a magic eraser), and the two top bunks need new slats which would make the beds much more comfortable. The property is very private, but conveniently located just a few minutes from White Salmon and Hood River. The owners are communicative and accommodating. « I rented both houses for my birthday. The houses are a 7 minute walk and 1 minute drive from each other, which I wasn't aware of (it's possible that's hiding in the listing somewhere), but we made it work and had an amazing weekend. Everything else was perfect! »

« My daughter attended an outdoor camp with a local gym. I needed a place where we could relax in the evening and I could work remotely during the day. The general location was perfect. Easily walkable to everything. It took us about a day to get used to the train traffic. Our Ford Explorer fits in the garage, but exiting the garage took a little effort (I felt like Austin Powers) but it was doable and a safe parking spot far outweighed any challenges. « This property was perfect for our party. We walked downtown for meals and the race. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space for our group of four but will accommodate more. The communication with host was great. Others have mentioned the temperature control issues. It must have been fixed because we had no issue. Doors and stairs were squeaky. »
