« We stayed 1 night. Our studio--sitting room, large bathroom, and bedroom--was very spacious with many amenities: coffee/water/materials for eating in. Well appointed--comfortable mattress, beautiful bedding, great bathroom--comfortable couch and small table for eating. Excellent value. More than 1 venue for food--different styles. We only sampled breakfast--the granola parfait was perfect. »

« The lodge was just as described - very modern, clean and cosy. The site itself was also lovely. This was the perfect place to stay, close enough to Keswick for things to do but away from the crowds. Highly recommend a stay here, we will be back for sure! »

« It really IS a working farm with real hard working people there who care.Matthew recieved some pygmy goats while we were there and it was fun to see them. The place was thoughtfully decorated and spacious. If you are very tall you need to be carefull here. It is in an old stone structure that has some recent modern upgrades. Very warm and cozy. A 5 minute walk from the front door gets you a million dollar view. TONs of great hiking and mountain biking options nearby. We would gladly stay here...

« Absolutely gorgeous lodge in a stunning and peaceful location. So handy. Close to all our usual haunts in Keswick but the setting makes you feel like you are wonderfully cut off from the world and I mean that in the best possible way. The lodge was super well equipped and the WiFi was better than at home! Tackled a few more Wainwrights while we were there. Would not hesitate to return to the site. « Loved the property and location and the owner of the property was very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed our stay immensely. Only problem with the holiday was being able to communicate with the property management company as they could not contact us as they had wrong email information. It did not matter in the end as we spoke to the property owner and he was very helpful and obliging. »

« We had an absolutely fabulous stay at the cedars. Too much to write to will do a bullet point review. Pros - location is so wonderful. « What a beautiful location and lovely little cottage. We were worried about the size of the bunk beds as we didn't realise they were not full size but my daughter and friend (5'11" and 5'9" found them very comfortable). The track up to the house was more of a problem. Glad our car has lots of clearance - a small car would not have managed those pot holes! »

« Ultimately the cottage seems to be a home to the owners how they like it. Cosy, practical & functional. Absolutely fine for us and accurately described - location really good & parking great for 1 vehicle we have a discovery and no problem. We took a fire stick down but you can’t link that up to the network, which was unusual- no porch for wet stuff, but you can see this from advert so again prepared for it. Anyway really enjoyed stay and would book again. »

« Came especially for the spa which was excellent, very modern, plenty to do and not too overcrowded. The new part of the hotel was very modern and complimented the older part. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was on a corner in the old part and was bug and comfortable and even has a partial lake view which was lovely. Plenty of choice for breakfast which was in a lovely big bright room. We will definitely be coming back. »
