'So cute, the loft was perfect for the teens. Super close to slopes. Adult bedroom removed from the kids, thank you. Watching DVDs from the diverse collection was nostalgic and fun.'

'We loved, loved, loved this place! Very clean, well designed and filled with comforts. The location is remote enough to feel like true Alaska but close enough to get to all activities and shopping very quickly. We even had a mom and baby moose visit us in the backyard! The owner was amazing when there was a scheduling mistake (my fault!) and did everything she could to help us out. Stay here! You will not be disappointed!'

'The chalet was very nice and had plenty of room for my family. The location was close to many nice hiking trails and not too far from our glacier tour in Whittier. The house was well set up and even had shampoo in the bathrooms which was a nice touch for anyone who forgot something. I recommend this stay for groups who want to avoid hotels and have a little privacy the neighborhood was quiet.'

'Overall the cabin is a cute, quite, cozy getaway. Loved the fireplace and the open loft style feel, private and really enjoyed it. One of the first issues was when we arrived, the drive wasn't plowed, only the stairs and a few feet shoveled. When booked it said firewood provided, none was there when we arrived. When I called they said they don't provide wood but different booking sites say different things and Expidia is one that advertises falsely. They apologized and said they would reimburse...

'Wonderful week in this cabin. It had everything we needed to relax and get away from the stress of daily life. The view from all sides is great, but especially from the backyard with the river and mountains right there. It was quiet and comfortable with the heat working well and plenty of hot water.
