Avonturenhotels in Maui

'Het was een prima complex. We hadden 2 verschillende kamers omdat we tussendoor een nachtje in Hana waren. De 2e kamer vonden we minder, het was een upgrade volgens de vrouw bij de receptie maar zo voelde het niet. In de aparte slaapkamer stond de airo naast je hoofd, niet te doen. Verder genoten van ons verblijf en van Maui. Erg om nu de nieuwsberichten te lezen over alle branden. '

'The oceanside views are breathtaking and worth the upgrade. The whole property smells so good, like the entire place is a spa. The rooms are spacious and nice, the on-site restaurants were all fantastic. The pool is great with a separated area for kids and adults, servers for cocktails, and reef-safe sunscreen and lotion provided. The walkability to Whaler's Village was also super convenient and we saw monk seals on Ka'anapali beach one morning!'

'The only thing that was the consensus of every family, including ours, is that for the nightly rate, pool and beach chairs should be guaranteed. My guess is that they have enough pool chairs for about 30% of the rooms, faaaar too low and we saw it causing some serious anger and jockeying for pool chairs in a line 20 minutes before the pool opened. We opted to stay out of that nightmare and rent chairs from a private vendor on the beach. The resorts beach chairs must be paid for and sell out days...

'Wij werden ontvangen door Patrick met zijn gulle lach, een lekker lavendel watertje en ijskoud doekje. Het personeel in de Andaz is erg service gericht en vriendelijk. Het hotel heeft een mooi decor. De locatie fantastisch, met strand voor de deur. Erg relaxte sfeer. Andere hotels in Wailea zijn veel drukker. Klein minpuntje - prijzen van de drankjes, eten etc, dit geldt voor heel Wailea.'

'This could be a lean to and I’d still say it’s the greatest. This is BLACKROCK! It’s sacred and it’s awesome! Property is huge and has all manors of lodging. They have classic Hawaiian dishes and performances. Best part, it’s on Kaanapali beach. With waves as high 15feet sometimes coming in. Sometimes, it’s only a foot. Whichever, doesn’t matter, because it’s one of the greatest beaches in the world. Shopping within walking distance. Food within walking distance. Whales within...
