Fantastic house in fantastic location
Group travelling for 5 weeks various places in SW for active tourism walking and cycling. This was by far the best and most well appointed house we have had and the forest location is just fantastic with wildlife all around.

Fabulous house with luxury forest cabin vibes
Family reunion in a stunning chalet. The house is beautiful, in a stunning setting with easy access to trails for running and biking, plus town for amenities and restaurants. Owners were very communicative and friendly - we felt very welcome and enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful large home, perfect location.
Wonderfully designed home perched up on a corner block with tall gums encompassing your view, feels like you’re in your own extremely secluded forest treat - but actually five minutes from town. Special mention for the heated floors in the bathrooms and the incredible walking trail around the river which has an entrance literally 5m from the block.

The Calistoga Chalet is a fantastic place to stay. Location is perfect. You can walk to town through beautiful scenery or a short drive within minutes. The bush setting is relaxing, and the Chalet is warm and inviting. The check in/ check out process is simple, and Mindy and Alistair are great hosts.

Luxury Adult Treehouse
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Beautiful property that felt like we were kms away from anyway but Margaret River townsite was walkable. The guys took their mountain bikes and made use of the nearby bush tracks. The house had everything we needed and we would definatly recommend a stay.

Luxurious & Welcoming Margaret River Stay
The photos truly do not do Alistair and Mindy’s stay justice, this is a beautiful stay which far exceeded our expectations and provided us the perfect base for our family trip to Margaret River. The stay accommodated the six of us comfortably, the external deck especially provided a wonderful place to relax with gorgeous views. All of this was made even better by the helpful and welcoming hosts Alistair and Mindy. Not only were they easy to contact and quick with recommendations, but they have a helpful booklet in the house with plenty of local information should you need you!

Loved our four nights in Calista Chalet and loved the peaceful locality and all on offer in Margaret River. Really appreciated the higher standard of presentation and amenity in the chalet and happily and highly recommend this property to the most fastidious guests!!

Great stay at Calistoga
We loved our stay at your chalet. The house is very roomy and comfortable. It was situated just out of town but great for walks and drives to various wineries, lunch spots etc. I found the host very obliging. There were many little extra things in the pantry, bathroom etc which was lovely. We would recommend the house to friends and family.

A perfect stay
There couldn't have been a better setting for a week away in Margaret River. The house was exactly as described, with the added bonus of being close to town, but feeling secluded. We did a few walks on the Wadandi Track which intersects close by. Communication was great throughout, and it had all the little extra touches to make it feel like a home away from home. We couldn't recommend a stay here more highly.

Accommodation was just perfect, absolutely stunning. Well maintained and in a fantastic location. Evenings spent around the large family dinner table eating, drinking and playing cards. Some great memories made this weekend! A definite 'must stay here again'!

Delightful!
We stayed 3 nights in late July. The house is exactly as presented in the listing and is very lovely, well equipped and a great location. Beds were super comfortable. It was quite a rainy weekend but still had a very enjoyable time. Was great to wander through the farmer's market on the Saturday morning and then bring home our lunch and watch the Olympics with the wood fire and the beautiful forest vista. The walk back from town to the house is easy and were able to go along part of the Wandandi Track. Communication with the owners was easy. Would definitely recommend.

Bush Seclusion minutes from town
Beautiful house, surrounded by the bush and yet so close to town. The owners really have thought of absolutely everything to make your stay as relaxing as possible. The pictures don’t do the house justice. We loved that we could walk the trails into town for our morning coffee. Communication with both the property manager and the owners was first class. We will definitely be back.
