« I've stayed at most of the Minocqua motels over the years, and I think, for a basic room, this is probably the nicest and best value in town. Rooms are large, modern, and comfortable. It is nice to have the pub and food available onsite, though the selection is pretty limited. Two quibbles: (1) the breakfast offering is pretty basic, though typical for motels, and (2) I wish the rooms had carpet. My room had bare vinyl plank flooring throughout, which seems a bit cold. »

« It was our first time in the UP and the lodge was perfect. My wife and I loved, and spent most of every evening in the lounge area playing the pinball and dart games. If we ever make it up that way again, we will definitely be staying at the lodge. Even the couple that we came to visit didn’t know it was here and are getting there family members to stay there when they visit. »
