Kastelen in Lussas-et-Nontronneau

"We received a heartly warm welcome by Lisa and Andy on arrival. The ‘petit maison’ is next door to their house, but has all the privacy with its own driveway, shed and garden. The house is as complete as can be, Lisa has it all organized very well and managed to give the house a homely feel. Especially when you, like us, arenot so very lucky with the weather and are forced to stay inn most of the time. We haven’t been able to enjoy the lake so much, but it must be wonderful to have a picknick there. And ofcourse all the gear for a picnic is ready for use. All you want to know about the surroundings is there in folders. In all we enjoyed our stay and managed to catch up with some reading by the fire with a good glass of wine."

"What an amazing, peacefull, beautiful place to spend a summer holiday. You can really relax and unwind, if you like fishing this is a great spot. The kids had an amazing time on the sup board in the lake or went in for a cooling down in the swimming pool. The house is charming and still have authentic elements with a modern touch. There are three large bedrooms with more than enough space. The owners are very kind and helpfull, they have given us many usefull tips and information of places to visit, thank you so much. We had one of our best summer holidays."

"We enjoyed two wonderfull weeks in this lovely house. The house has a private pool and from the garden you look out over a valley. We regularly saw rabbits, foxes and deer. There is plenty to do in the area. The owners are friendly and helpful."
