Hotelresorts in Long Island

"Savonds laat toekomen met kinderen na een héél labge reis, toen bleek dat er geen connecting rooms waren( hoewel 8 maanden vooraf al gevraagd), ze zouden in de loop van ons verblijf zien of dit nog kon lukken maar gaven geen enkel teken gedurende 6 dagen. De double beds bleken twijfelaars te zijn waar wij als koppel niet eens in passen. Slechte room cleaning service, bedden niet opgedekt. Douche was max lauw, chauffage/airco thermostaat kapot. Ontbijt vreselijk eentonig en waanzinnig veel plastiek...zelfs kartonnen bordjes en plastieken bestek en alles voorverpakt tot de appels toe. Er wordt niets gesorteerd... ondenkbaar zou dit zijn in Europa. Eetruimte lawaaierig en véél te klein voor zoveel mensen. Kortom, geen aanrader."

"Hotel and staff are absolutely fantastic. Very helpfull , friendly en warm welcome. The only thing about the area if you walk to and from the nearest metro station you have to go through a projects neigborhood. Where lot of people who live there specially in the evening are smoking weed, hanging arround. They dont bother you if you just mind your business. But i think if you are a woman alone it could feel unsave. "
