« Hotel was kind of dated. There was a chain lock on the door. The soap dish was in the middle of the shower. It kept poking me in my back and side when I moved. There was a lot of trash in the hallway by the steps. Staff were friendly. Lobby was cozy. The water in the sink got really hot but not in the shower. There was a nice selection for breakfast. »

« The hotel is in a good location and looks nice but the property is looking a little ragged and in need of some maintenance. For the price I was expecting something nicer. But the heated pool was fantastic and, if you like swimming, worth the higher cost. »

« We had a beautiful stay. The property is in a very convenient location. Walking distance of a few breweries, dinner locations and a nice little breakfast restaurant. We would definitely stay again. The state park right down the road has a big lake with plenty of fishing. Rob the owner was very friendly and helpful. »

« Beautiful Home on top of huge hill with a 270 degree panoramic view of rolling hills. Pool was amazing! Not a sounds around you but nature. Rental space was opulent and grand and felt like you were in the whole Mansion! Mr William and Ms Liz and family were over hospitable and even more kind! I’m keeping it short and sweet but definitely a place I recommend and will be staying at again in the future! »

« This house was cute and quite charming. I enjoyed the authentic layout and features of the home with modern touches to ease the stay. You felt the charm of the 1800s with plenty of plugs and charging outlets for phones and devices. The towels and bedding were high quality and the window unit A/C in each room cooled us down from the summer heat easily. The town was quiet but it was a beautiful drive to tourist spots like Lancaster and Bird in Hand, PA. We would recommend this home. »

« This place has it all! In both the grounds and house, there is a generosity of space, and yet it feels cozy and approachable. The landscaping—including two ponds—makes the area seem private, and yet we got tired exploring! The home has a capacity to hold a crowd, but we gathered comfortably in the living and dining areas. This gem in the PA countryside is one that I hope to return to again and again. Plus the homeowner made check in and arrangements easy. »
