'This house sits on such a beautiful location overlooking the lake. Our hosts were very friendly and made sure everything went smoothly. When the heater didn't work, he came out personally, got it running again, and made sure it would work properly for the rest of our stay.'

'Lovely setting overlooking the Illinois river. Plenty of beds, bathrooms, and seating for our family reunion. The fireplaces indoors and outside were great. We loved the piano, which was in tune, for our sing alongs. And the large deck outside was wonderful for enjoying morning coffee and bird watching on the river. The water supply is from a well so bring bottled water for drinking and coffee making if you don‘t like the heavy iron taste of well water. Make sure to catch sunset over the river.'

Greg's place is a great home base to gather our various family's together from throughout the country for our traditional holiday visit home to Metamora. Being adjacent to the Golf Course I can imagine this would be a great spot for a golf retreat. We will be back next year!'
