« The only problem I had was with the back stairs to the porch. The steps were broken and wobbly. I was able to navigate them but I know others would have fallen. I did contact the Hndyman but he never responded to that request. Other than that, it was exectly what I hoped for!! »

« Great place to stay. The Manor House was located in a private setting in the woods on a secluded road on top a scenic hilltop along the Illinois river valley. Checking in was easy and accommodating. The Manor House was stocked with everything you will need for your stay. The decor was unique and well kept. The house was clean in every aspect. By far the best place we have stayed in the Peoria area to date. I hope to stay at The Manor House next year. »

« We had a great stay for a group of 4 in this cosy little home. Attended a wedding and room for us to get ready. Walking distance to Prospect Ave and plenty of restaurants. The walkway behind was pretty this time of year. »

« The property owners were very nice and helpful. Check-in was easy. The reference in the listing to a picnic on the beach seems mis-leading. You do have a nice view over the river and we had a pretty sunset but no beach. The house looks nicer in the pictures than in person although it is large and accommodated our needs. There are a lot DIY renovations that pretty odd but didn't really interfere with our stay. Just not as luxurious as represented. I should acknowledge I manage some rental...

« Cozy, but provided all that II needed. Main floor laundry was convenient. »

« This home was clean and comfortable. There was plenty of space and bedrooms for our group of 8 adults. The home provided everything we needed. The property manager responded quickly and helped make the experience a great one. Excellent location if you are attending an event at the Cannery. We would stay here again. »

« The house was exactly as described online. Clean and comfortable for our entire family. The owner was extremely responsive to all of our requests. The beautiful pool and patio was the highlight of our stay. Adults and kids loved it. »

« Ah, these girls graduated in 1975 so our version of “partying” was a little different 50 years ago! But we found the house to be well stocked and furnished nicely. Comfortable beds and really nice bathrooms! Did not use the hot tub …but thot it might be nice to add a table and chairs outdoors…but otherwise the property met our needs and was very spacious! »
