« This was a very complimentary property in which to enjoy La Fortuna and San Carlos without the bother of too much tourism. Yes it was quite a bit down the road that you turned off of but it rained cats and dogs but we were still able to get through on the road, some pot holes but still nothing like the pot holes in cities! LOL!! Buying groceries and just chilling was the perfect recipe for recharge!! Pura Vida! »

« The villa was beautiful and spacious! Only one thing the hot water wasn't working and maybe they can add a safety bar for when stepping up or out of the tub/shower because it's a high step. The host was wonderful and went out of her way to make us feel like home. »

« We liked the layout and the rooms had everything you needed (except there was no oven - but we didn't need that). Kitchen was fully stocked. Back yard was beautiful. « Loved this place! Liked how we felt in the jungle but were very close to town. We did see two sloths on our property, but someone had to point them out to us. Love drinking coffee on the porch and listening to the running river. So many local restaurants and shops. I would recommend the local market on the corner for fresh fruits and veggies and we loved the coffee shop next door. »

« Our family spent Christmas in La Fortuna at this beautiful house. There was plenty of room for seven adults to relax and enjoy spending time together. The property is not in the town which made for a serene visit. Driving to town was a quick 20 minute drive to most attractions. We really enjoyed the pool, the views and seasonable weather. I highly recommend Daughter of the Moon for those looking to visit the La Fortuna area. It was spectacular! »
