Auberges à Kirkwall

« We had a wonderful stay at The Ayre Hotel, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was excellent with a comprehensive menu, something to suit all tastes. Breakfast was free and there was a really good choice of cereals, pastries and all the usual Bacon Eggs etc. The building was nice and room very comfortable. We were overlooking the harbour and it was nice to see all the ferries coming and going. I would highly recommend a stay here, we will be back :D »

« Chambre spacieuse, calme, dans un hôtel plutôt bien situé. Bon petit déj copieux. Par contre, l'établissement est difficile à trouver car en retrait d'une rue principale, dans une petite ruelle, à l'arrière d'un parking. Par ailleurs, pour prendre la clef, il nous a fallu aller dans le pub voisin pour la récupérer. Enfin, quant à la chambre, elle avait de petites fenêtres donnant sur le toit de la cuisine du resto et la télé est trop petite pour une aussi grande pièce surtout vue depuis le lit !...

« Very accommodating and friendly host, nothing was too much trouble. Our dogs were also made to feel very welcome! Bed was very comfortable and the room was clean and warm. Breakfast was amazing, nicest haggis I’ve ever tasted. »
