We only stayed overnight and did not have time to enjoy the patio between the 2 houses. That area looked really peaceful. We will definitely come back when in the area again. '

'The stay was good. It was a little scary at night because there are no lights. The stay served its purpose we needed somewhere to crash for a few hours before the next tournament day. But this place is great for a couples get away girls getaway. If you nature this is the place. '

'If you are ready to be pampered in the most lovely, historic setting then the Zevely Inn is for you! Our room was cozy and the made-from-stratch breakfasts served by the innkeeper absolutely delicious! And she was delightful, so welcoming and full of stories, but still giving us privacy to soak in every morsel of Old Salem charm in the home owned by Dr. Zevely. We're going back as soon as possible!'

'We loved staying in the beautiful restored villa. Our room was decorated with a great mix of old and new. The bathroom is exquisite with soaking tub and large shower. We were treated to a fantastic breakfast at their sister property.'

'I rarely write a review and if I do I rarely give more than 4 stars. If I could give A Mighty Oak six stars I would! Todd and Lisa have a wonderful place with views of Pilot Mountain. The breakfast is farm to table and is world class. We will return.'

'My daughter and I stayed at Summit Street Inn for a weekend of college touring and getting to know Winston Salem. This inn is beautiful and clean, conveniently located at the “end” of downtown. We felt safe and walked to dinner and other outings. The home is well maintained with a mix of old (original creeky floors) and new (bathrooms) and lovely gardens! We will be back!'

Pleasant enough but not sure we'll return.

"We stayed here for 2 nights in a comfortable suite. The property was very pleasant, as were the staff. Parking was easy and safe. Strange that a hotel of this class doesn't have a bar or restaurant though. I know they offer a glass of wine in the evening, but having to walk 10 minutes to find somewhere to go for a nightcap we found unusual. Feels more like a wedding venue than a full-service hotel. Breakfast was very good."

"A convenient location if you need a stop by the highway. Room mostly clean. I’m not sure the pillows were originally meant to sleep on because they were square, hard, and quite uncomfortable. "
