'The staff were very friendly and attentive. The hotel was very comfortable with large clean rooms. We were in a dog friendly room as were a lot of the guests. The hotel is handy for walking around Rothesay Main Street. '

Check in was 3pm (quite a late check-in time as it is) As we were going to a function at 5 and had to leave the hotel at 4.30 I called ahead to ask if it was possible to get in to the room a little earlier. I was told abruptly and with an incredulous voice that that was impossible as they would be cleaning rooms right up to 3pm.
