Check-in took 2.5 hours, I stood in a huge queue in the sun for 1.5 hours to get the sheets and the key etc., 0.5 hours at the reception because the key was supposed to be there, which in turn was outside was in the queue. 0.5 hour back at reception to inform about the chalet's deficiencies.
The following defects:
Lawn not mowed, tipping over on the floor, damage to an outside wall (hole), no light in the bathroom, both children's beds, the slatted frames were damaged, heating was on, I could only turn it off by turning off the gas, gas burner cover and controls loose in the cupboard, no Umbrella stand, no kettle or pan, 2 gas hobs broken, antenna cable from the television was missing, the television was more of a tablet anyway, the cover (shade) of a lamp in the bedroom was missing.
In the park: restaurant closed, paths partially badly damaged, the picture of the chalet does not reflect what was actually on offer at all, i.e. beach at the house..., water playground rusted, algae everywhere, basketball hoop torn off, tennis court damaged, only one racket intact , mini golf course, 3 holes unplayable, table tennis and playground badly damaged, even the mailbox at reception was junk. All in all just booked a junkyard!
We also heard from other holidaymakers what they had in the chalet that was unimaginable, e.g. no fridge, no door handle, toilet damaged, waiting times of 4 hours at check-in, just as unkempt, I then found out that the lawnmower was junk, I don't know what To off
