'Both my fiancé and I love adventures and we have no problem with living under local conditions and circumstances such as in the Kgalagadi like showering with salt water, being some days without WiFi and any other connection to the outside world, etc. But what !Xaus offers is simply a rip-off! Serving greasy pork belly on Christmas Eve with a cold soup as a starter, needing to pay for drinks at lunch and dinner, having no fridge with cold drinks available and no AC in the cottages, being provided...

'Terrible experience at this hotel, i had booked a room with a river view, upon my arrival I was allocated a cube room, with no window and a partitioned balcony. I queried this and noticed that they gave my room to their frequent guest and I had to suffer as am not a regular at the property. I was later given a room which had a small window still not the room I had booked and paid for. Just when i though I had all the terrible experience the dinner was even worse i could not swallow their wings...
