'Trés bien'

'We turned up at the hotel for a 3nights extended bank holidays weekend just to find out that the hotel was privatised and fully booked with nowhere to sleep in town or in the neighbouring villages !!! Owner refused to speak to Hotels.com since apparently he has only signed a contract with Expedia (but didn’t acknowledge it was the same company!) and refused to speak English... Hotels.com was not able to sort it out not find anywhere else and we had to drive back home 3hrs in the other direction...

'Pour le prix de la nuit, on est agréablement surprises. Il y a tout, c’est calme, la literie confortable, la SdB tres propre, grande ciisine equipee, le propriétaire aimable et disponible... bonne adresse'

'As soon as the gate was opened we knew we had arrived at a special Chambre d'hote. The property was well maintained, welcoming hosts and very comfortable and ekegant rooms. We had a delightful evening meal with the hosts and another couple. We are on a cycle holiday and were thrilled to have our laundry done for us overnight. In the morning our bikes had even been turned to the direction we were going to travel.'

'This place truly does have all ingredients for a special time off the beaten track. The ancient house breaths history and is located in a remote village while Chablis and Noyers-sur-Serein are within short distance. We stayed in the large bedroom, full of authentic details with private bathroom. Good working WiFi. Owners are friendly, very helpful and also speak English. Parking is possible on the front and there's a wonderful green garden to relax. Just outside are several walking paths along...
