'We checked in on May 18th to May 21st 2025. The front desk receptionist was very accommodating and always responded email communications in a timely manner. The staff were very friendly and courteous and helpful in answering questions. The property is located close to Reykjavik. I noticed convenience stores and gas stations around the area. Since rented the car, we didn’t take any public transportation. Lots of parking and free! There is a restaurant within the hotel but since we went out early...

'Good stay. Only complaint was we stayed in room 212, which i would think to be the last room to be rented out. It wasnt as the bank was not even half full. The room is the only one without shelving or a tv. The desk lamp was broken as well. I recommend the bank, but if you get room 212, ask for another.'

'Check in was swift and easy, easy going manager. Lot of respect for them as a couple because they run the property totally on their own. Making long hours and driving guests very early in the morning (starting +- 4 Am) , at no extra cost, to the airport (10 minut drive). 'Cosy, unconvenrional setup. A lot of furniture and stuff.'

'Beautiful stay close to Reykjavik! We were so close we could see the fireworks on New Years eve! Also saw the northern lights from here. Check in is not at the cabbins, so make sure to first check in before driving there. Moreover, the closest by dinner options are a drive away'
