'The property was fantastic and exactly what we were hoping for. A huge villa with lots of rooms and space to spread out for the whole family. The villa was very clean and well prepared and the host was wonderful when we had a delay in our arrival. She met us at 23.00 to give us the keys and show us around. The river beach area was only 10 min walk and is great for outdoor activities. Fab stay.'

'In een prachtige, idyllische omgeving hebben wij midden in het centrum van Arganil mogen vertoeven. Het is een prima startpunt om vele mooie plaatsen te bezichtigen. De binnenstad kent vele leuke restaurants; de omgeving is voorzien van vele bergen, een rivier met zeer schoon water en diverse strandjes. Fraga da Pena is zeker een bezoekje waard. Al met al zijn de toeristische plaatsen nog altijd rustig; ze worden niet overspoeld met hordes vakantiegangers of luide muziek. Het is hier echt...

'Excelente espaço para uma família numerosa ou um grande grupo de amigos. Espaço limpo e com as condições para permanecer num curto ou longo período de tempo. Grande disponibilidade por parte no gestor Nuno Couto.'

'The location is gorgeous and the history so interesting. The best part was that a local knew the owner and called him after we spent over an hour looking for the location. He met us and drove with us to the house. Wonderful gentleman. I suggest you speak to the owner and get more detail on the location.'

'Uns dias fantásticos em família. A casa é ótima, com uma excelente localização. O proprietário deu algumas sugestões de locais a visitar, apesar de já termos algumas ideias, mas mesmo assim não conseguimos visitar tudo ... teremos que voltar ... As praias fluviais são lindas ...'

'We loved the view, and the house has it’s charms. Sadly the bed and sofa bed are old, very small and very uncomfortable. We were unable to sleep at all, and decided to book another place to enjoy the rest of our holiday.'

'Paradise! Wow! We were not expecting what a wonderful place this is! It should be labeled a 'resort' more than a hotel. I would have expected to pay three times more for a place like this. It was the most quiet hotel I have ever stayed and the view was incredible. I have nothing bad to stay about this super clean, well kept, hidden gem. Thank you!'

'Maison fonctionnelle avec un extérieur exceptionnel. Propriétaire discret mais toujours disponible qui connaît très bien la ville et la région. Je recommande.'

'Wij genoten van het verblijf in het rustieke huis. Alles was prima verzorgd, het haardvuur stond al aan bij aankomst.De eigenaar is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Omdat wij nogal lang zijn was het bed voor ons een beetje te kort. Vanaf de veranda is er een mooi uitzicht op de olijfboomgaard en de wijngaard voor het huis. In de omgeving konden we mooi wandelen met onze honden.Fijn dat de honden mee konden op vakantie. In het nabij gelegen dorp is een kleine supermarkt die goede producten...

Très bel hôtel et personnel accueillant

"L’hôtel est très beau dans son ensemble. Le monsieur qui nous a accueillis à la réception était chaleureux et accueillant. Nos 2 chambres étaient spacieuses, propres et fonctionnelles. La piscine extérieure est dans un très beau cadre, vue sur la montagne. Nous avons mangé un soir au buffet (beaucoup de choix). Le deuxième soir, nous avons mangé à Queijaria Manteigas où nous avons été très bien reçus. Le petit déjeuner de l’hôtel est sous forme de buffet. La vue depuis la terrasse du restaurant de l’hôtel est incroyable. Nous tenons à souligner la gentillesse de tout le personnel. Nous sommes très satisfaits de notre séjour. Merci à tous"
