Cottages in Boranup Karri Forest

'A short drove from town but feels totally rural and close to nature. Kangaroos, birds and close to forest trails. Loved the outdoor shower and shelves of books, great coffee and plenty of staples. My son loved hanging out in the trees and exploring with the hosts young daughter - and loved the free dogs and apples we were kindly gifted. Comfy beds and plenty of space. We will be back!'

'This quaint old world weatherboard cottage was charming and unique with its original paintings by a recognised WA artist. Being set in the middle of farming land allowed us to view all the beautiful local birdlife and the Aurora Australis at night. Our UK grandchildren were charmed by all the birdlife as well as the local roos and emus in the neighbouring paddocks. The cottage was well stocked and basics were provided. Being small there wasnt really any room for us to put our own provisions....

'Mycket bekvämt boende med generöst innehåll i kyl och i ställ för en första frukost. Välutrustat självhushåll, bra sängar samt AC i allmänna utrymmet och fläktar i de två sovrummen. Duschrum och toa av god standard. Inget som skapar missnöje.'

'The property was quiet and peaceful. A muddy water spa bath is hard to pass off as full of soothing minerals. Furniture was past its best and water pressure nonexistant. I would give it a 5 out of 10'

'This home is absolutely gorgeous and so so comfortable (and very clean as well!). Highlights were:- Spacious covered outdoor deck with awesome daybed and outdoor eating for 4- well equipped kitchen for 6 with local tea leaves, coffee beans and all the herbs / spices you need- beautiful local artwork painted by the owners daughter- kangaroos and magpies / lorrikerts coming to visit each morning and evening'
