'This felt like you were staying with a local family because they stay on the lodge property too. The staff was amazing and caring. The property is in a beautiful area and the guides have things to do multiple times a day. The meals were home cooked and offered a lot of variety. Overall I can’t say enough about the people and the location and the service. Suggestions for travelers include not taking a big suitcase, leave that at a hotel in Manaus and pack just the clothing needed for the lodge....

'Wij hebben de reis via internet geboekt. De omschrijving sloot echter niet aan bij de werkelijkheid. De locatie zoals gemeld - in het centrum - is een duister kantoor waarvandaan we in het donker naar de lodge, een half uur over de rivier, werden gevaren. De lodge is prachtig gelegen. Helaas kregen we niet een 3-persoons suite zoals geboekt maar een 3-persoonskamer. Klein, alles vies en kapot. En electriciteit alleen van 18-24 uur, met geluk.
