'Sapphire Bay Villa 1, very spacious and clean. Villa needs a bit of TLC to bring it back to Luxury price that the owners are requiring. Everything was working fine but a few fixtures and furnishings are old and need replacing. We had a lovely stay and the Manageress Mrs Va and Joe the maintenance man looked after us well. They are what made our stay excellent. We would definitely stay again but hopefully the price reflects the condition of the villa next time.'

'Our group of (two couples) stayed 4 nights in the middle of the hot and rainy season, so the air conditioned bedrooms and the refreshing pool were great to have. The main room got a bit hot during the day but we found ways to escape the heat. The owners were fantastic and responded quickly to any questions or issues we had. 'The house is located in pacific harbour. This is an area where a lot of expads have a villa. This house is old. Interior, exterior. Not what we are used to have in europe or the US. Everything is used very much and worn out. The kitchen is a bit sticky and also very old. Kitchendoors are painted 20 times and also a long time ago. 'The house has all the comforts of home and met our needs for our short stay. The road leading to the house is dicey, so it's highly recommended that you arrange transportation in a vehicle with good tires and high clearance because of all the dips and potholes on the dirt roads. Stock up on water and supplies ahead of your arrival at Bularangi.
