On The Rocks is a relaxing cottage located on Lake Huron. Come enjoy the view of the water, the morning sunrise, and relax in the sunshine during the day or by the fire pit in the evening. Only 5 min north of downtown East Tawas. Quite, private setting. Enjoy the BBQ or head into town and let some else do the work for you. Just minutes away from the state park with a great beach and lighthouse.

Within a 5 minute drive to downtown and you will find amazing restaurants, great shopping, putt putt, ice cream, great beachs and parks. Don’t forget to visit the Tawas Point light house. Or head north 5-10 minutes into Oscoda.

Comfortable and cozy stay
I took my husband and 2 children to Tawas for the weekend and stayed at this very cute and comfortable cabin. It was very clean and provided a lot of amenities. We all enjoyed it. Beautiful view. It was very charming. We would stay again.

Loved this rental home, it was a great stay and the little extras provided made it feel special. Small, but felt spacious! The location was excellent, and the view was great. Arrived to find a welcome basket, clean and beautiful furniture, nice floors and rugs, great linens and towels. Everything was top notch! Would definitely return :)

Cozy cottage
We loved this cute and cozy cottage. It was perfect for our small little family. It was so nice to be right on the water with great views, and only 5-10 minutes from Tawas, lots of restaurants, and the beaches. Our kids loved playing in the sand and the bonfires. Communication was excellent throughout the process. We would love to stay here again.

Lovely Cabin
You have everything you need in this cabin. The only negative is the huge rock wall in the backyard. I understand there were issues with water washing away the beaches, but I was assuming there would some small beach area. There is no lake access here. The wind is strong and chilly coming off Lake Huron.

Peace and Tranquility
We stayed just a couple of weeks prior to peak season in Michigan and really enjoyed our time. East Tawas is a nice small town right on Lake Huron with many lakeside parks. On The Rocks cottage rental is away from the hustle and bustle but can be where the action is within minutes.

What a quaint, cozy cottage! On The Rocks was the perfect place to stay for my husband and I. It was peaceful, and listening to the waves of Lake Huron hitting the rocks was so calming. The cottage was clean and tidy. The furniture was comfortable. We highly recommend this place!

This place has everything you could need! The outdoor space is absolutely amazing, views for miles, peaceful sounds of the waves! Inside was very comfortable, great spot to relax and play games! The location was also great, very short drive into town or into Oscoda. Communication with the owners was very prompt. Highly recommend this place!

Late summer getaway
I brought my son and daughter (10 & 15) up to visit family in the area and have one more fun trip before school starts. The cottage was perfect! The kids would have liked to have been able to swim but there are beaches nearby and they had fun playing corn hole on the sand. We enjoyed the deck and all the fresh air. It was so nice to sleep with the windows open and hear the waves at night. The cottage was very clean and well-appointed. Kim was very responsive and booking through check-in was super easy. I definitely would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the area!

Amazing gem in East Tawas!
This cottage is conveniently located away from the busyness of the town but only 5 minutes away. We enjoyed the sounds of the waves on Lake Huron whether inside or outside of the cottage. Beautiful sunrises! The owners have literally thought of everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The little details they have thought of are perfect! A Great Escape
