The house is very clean and quiet. The only less appealing aspect of the home is the small hill and stairs to the front door. « This is a wonderful place to stay. Spacious, quiet, well located; this house has everything you’d need for a McCloud getaway. Well appointed kitchen, great bathroom, comfortable spots all throughout the house to tuck yourself away and fixate on the great forest views. I loved the big porch in the front with its comfortable outdoor furniture. Also, right in the front, if you stand in the no traffic road, there’s Mt Shasta grinning down at you. A magical place to stay. »

« The house was comfortable and we enjoyed the video game table and the wide variety of interesting books and music. I wouldn't call the waterbed waveless (we've had 2 waterbeds), and we found this one a bit sloshy. However, I personally felt that the bed was extremely uncomfortable, I ended up sleeping on the couch instead. It’s a VERY firm mattress, and I understand that many enjoy that but for me I was in tons of pain trying to sleep on it.
