There are 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms all with built in wardrobes. There are 2 living areas and a sunroom to relax in. The wrap around deck allows you to enjoy all day sunlight in your favourite spot! The sofa lounge in the library area is great for those large groups and the extensive outside garden area to be enjoyed by all. NBN wifi included along with Netflix for those relaxing afternoons. Perched on a hill, Quarry Hill Lookout, overlooks the stunning, pristine waters of Port Esperance Bay and is located a short stroll from the beach, restaurants and town center.
Just over 1 hour from Hobart or 1.5 hours from the airport, Quarry Hill Lookout is an ideal get-away for couples, families or groups of friends.

It's also the perfect location for a small event as it sleeps up to 9 people comfortably and provides a great base from which to explore the attractions of the Far South, including:

* Hastings Caves State Reserve has something for everyone! Tour the stunning dolomite caves and see the full formation of stalactites, stalagmites and the unusual helictites, swim in the magical thermal springs, wander the short nature walks and picnic by the warmth of an open log fire - this is an inspiring day out!

* Enjoy short or longer walks through alpine and snow gum woodland as you follow the path of the Arve River in Hartz Mountains. This takes the walker through a landscape carved by glaciers. You may even be lucky enough to see some snow!

* Visit Willie Smith’s Apple Shed! You'll sample their delicious ciders and you can't go past their amazing toastie's and of course it's home to the best apple pie in the Huon!

* Learn the traditional craft of wooden boat building using rare Tasmanian boat building timbers @The Wooden Boat Centre

* Tahune Adventures is the home of the airwalk, eagle glider and swinging bridges! This day can be as relaxing or as adventurous as you would like it to be!

* Escape and explore and see a platypus in the wild along the river banks at Geeveston. Start at the Geeveston visitor centre and take the nice stroll. Take in the fresh air.

* If you like a bit of adrenaline then visit the Huon Jet Boat. Rug up and experience Tasmania's wild rivers and stunning scenery.

* We have a bucket list must do here! Head to Cockle Creek and take the South Cape walk to the most southern point in Australia! 4 hour return walk.

* Southern Aurora - you don't need to travel...... just step out onto the front deck, grab your iphone and snap away!

I don't think you will find a Stayz better than this one. A beautiful view from everywhere in the house. Nicola has thought of everything to make your stay as comfortable as she could. Beautiful Home
I don't often write reviews but this property deserves one. Quarry Hill Lookout is modern, has stunning water views and is spotlessly clean. It was perfect for our girls weekend, the host Nicole has thought of everything from the complimentary breakfast items, plunger coffee and tea, bottle of champagne on arrival, biscuits, chocolate/shower cap placed on our beds, to the hotel quality towels and beach towels. It's all these touches that made our stay so special. The home caters for families with board games, Netflix, books in the library, gates on the stairs and there's a garden with fruit and veggies we could pick and eat from! BBQ facilities are available and there is a RSL with great food and a cafe a couple of minutes walk away. We made use of the woodfire as nights got a bit chilly it was so toasty and warm. This place really felt like a home away from home, cannot recommend it enough we loved it!!

A Very Impressive Property
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Quarry Point Lookout and would have loved to stay longer. It is quite possibly the best organised holiday house we have ever stayed in. Nicola has thought of everything to make one's stay comfortable and uncomplicated. The house is beautiful and the view ever-changing depending on the time of day and the weather. Just a five minute walk to shops, cafes and club.

The house is gorgeous with so many different places to sit and enjoy the view! The view from the main bedroom bed is like a picture painting! I also loved having a little greenhouse and being able to water the plants( only if you want to). Nicola was impressive with her responses. I really want to live there full time!

Incredible house, saw this listing online and loved it. When we arrived it did not disappoint. The views from every room are amazing. Nicolas attention to detail and her thoughtfulness was greatly appreciated. I would not hesitate to stay here again. The hasting caves just down the road are also a must, one of the best we have seen.

The best stay of our trip!
Nicola’s property was exactly as described and the perfect mix of luxurious but cozy and homely at the same time. Everything you could imagine was available in the home and well stocked for all our needs. The big space and amazing fireplace was perfect for our group. We were very sad to leave the comfort of this home. Everything was thought through and for the guest’s delight including the detailed guide book, enough towels for you to enjoy the beach multiple times and a full pantry. Communication with Nicola was easy and always super prompt: Flawless!

Quarry Hill Lookout is a spectacular house with an equally spectacular view. Everything one could wish for in a holiday house is there exactly as described on Stayz. Nicloa was a great host both with answering queries before booking and offering assistance after checkin (which was not required). The first few days were cool but the house was warm thanks to the wood fire and aircon. The best woodfired pizzas were a 2 minute walk away but sadly only open Thurs to Sat. Overall a very relaxing week.

This home is beautifully furnished, a great fireplace, a very comfortable bed, a library where everyone will find many books of interest, amazing examples of various artists work, and it exudes very restful vibe. This is in the top 2 best properties we have ever stayed in. We will definitely be back!

This was a beautifully appointed property with stunning views. Waking up to the sunrise from bed was an amazing start to the day. What a great location
We had booked Quarry Hills Lookout as the end of our Tasmania round trip for four nights. What a great ending! The house is lovingly furnished and perfectly equipped. There is nothing that is missing. The various seating areas in and around the house always allow for new beautiful views. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and were very reluctant to leave Quarry Hills Lookout. Absolutely recommended for a few relaxing days!!!!
