Better than expected
We take an annual family weekend getaway to somewhere in Idaho each summer and this year Donnelly was the destination. This house was in a great location for some peace and quiet. We were also pleasantly surprised how close it was to water for the family to hang out on the beach and even fish. We were also pleasantly surprised with how stocked the kitchen was and they even supplied this place with big bottles of shampoo/conditioner and body wash! Bonus! While we didn't get a chance to use the firepit, I wish we would have booked just one more night to use. The bunk beds were great and super sturdy and having a closet filled with toys was my 4 year old nephews favorite. We would absolutely love to stay here again. Our host(ess) was super communicative and check in and out was easy. Thanks again for hosting our family of 6.

Perfect cabin for our family!
We absolutely loved staying here! Our kids loved the arcade games and the bunk beds. This is the perfect cabin for a small family, with everything you need. Comfy beds, washer/dryer, kitchen with cooking supplies, games, TV and Wifi. Also perfectly clean. We will definitely be back!

Snow weekend getaway that’s great for kids!
Snow weekend perfect for the family. We enjoyed the awesome location close to town and Tamarack. The wood pellet stove was perfect for warming up after a day on the ski hill. We also enjoyed the games and spacious kitchen. The video games were a hit too. Everything you need to enjoy your winter getaway.

Couldn’t recommend this stay more. The Bears Den is so perfect and cozy. We cooked all of our meals here, and it was equipped with every cooking utensil you would ever need. It was the best way to spend Thanksgiving! Our senior dogs loved running in the field across the street! Sunsets were beautiful, and it was so fun watching the deer in the backyard in the morning! Would definitely stay here again!!

Excellent family house
“Best vacation ever!” All three of my kids (ages 10 & 8) absolutely loved this house! Big back yard, close to the lake, and of course the games. It was perfect for our house and even our dog enjoyed it. Clean, perfect for a family, great neighbors, perfect location. Only problem was swing set was full of splinters and yard wasn’t fenced so had to walk the dog but the views made it worth it! Can’t want to go back.

Great relaxing getaway
Very clean, well eqquipped and comfortable cabin. We greatly enjoyed our time there. Beautiful view from the front porch, lovely large yard for our kids (7 and 10) and dog to play. We roasted marshmallows and hot dogs in the fire pit, used the swing set, and road our bikes to the lake front state park only 10 mins away. Would love to return. Thanks for a great week!

Great place to stay.
The property faces east in the morning and west in the evening. We took advantage of watching both the sunrise and the sun setting. Only neighbors were on the sides and they were quiet. We couldn't find anything we needed that the kitchen didn't already have. The beds were comfy and there was plenty of seating for everything we needed. If we decide to have our group gathering in the same area next year, we'll be booking the same place.

Perfect Home Away from Home
This is a wonderful home in a great location with spectacular views. The hosts have provided everything we could need. The pellet stove was perfect on the snowy nights. We were away exploring all day. This home is close enough to town to grab grub but far enough away to enjoy the beautiful scenery, We will always try to rent this home if it's available when we come up this way.

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful home. It was warm and comfortable. A chair in the master would have been nice but this was a minor concern. We strongly recommend this location for a wonderful Idaho vacation.

Beautiful area, good location.
Property was nice, roomy and cozy, and it came stocked with just about everything you would need. Situated nicely, not far from Donnelly if you needed a quick pit stop or from a larger attraction in McCall or Tamarack resort area. Runs off of a nice semi-secluded road that also serves as a decent little trail to walk, including the surround area. Fairly quiet neighborhood. The only down sides was no fencing / privacy in the back yard. So it was tough to just allow the two dogs we brought to go out and run around and enjoy themselves (we just walked them often instead). And the neighbors dogs to the right constantly bark any time you set foot outside. The black lab to the left seemed sweet though and didn’t cause any issues. No issues with property owners. Good with the information they sent / had prepared at the house. They let you just enjoy your stay. Would recommend / stay again.

Exploring the area.
Our first time exploring Cascade to McCall area and it did not disappoint. This is a clean up to date beautiful home with great views, we walked every morning with my dog, cooked and enjoyed the quiet. Nice neighbors with dogs, sometime barking but not a problem. The Bear Den is a perfect location in the middle of everything, McCall & Ponderosa St Pk is fantastic, Donnelly has a fun Hat Shop, Antique store and Farmers Market. We drove all around Cascade St Pk and bought souvenir's at the Squirrel Outdoor. The best was the Gold Fork Hot Springs 20 min away! We hope to visit again soon! Thank you !

Wonderful!
Perfect little cabin for our family! Beautifully taken care of and clean. The kids loved the swing set, the toys, and the bunk bed. Saw lots of hummingbirds, mountain bluebirds, and some gorgeous sunsets and sunrises. Only a couple miles from Boulder creek beaches. The cabin everything we needed and more. Couldn’t be happier and would definitely stay again!

Love this house
When we arrived, everything was clean and ready for us. The door code was easy to use. The kitchen drawers/doors were labeled and everything was so easy to find. The Pac-Man game was a big hit. My 73 year old mother and I played and laughed. The beds were very comfortable. We only needed two rooms but all were adequately stocked with sheets/bedding. We will stay again when in the area. Didn’t want to leave.
