'From arrival to departure Jonathan, Melissa and Magnus (The Dog) were the most wonderful hosts. We stayed in the Fat Badger Hut which was absolutely stunning, the bed was the cosiest thing ever and the room was well decorated. Breakfast was delicious and filling. The little things including the beautifully lit garden with fairy lights and water features plus our hosts hospitality was unquestionably outstanding. This was a truly perfect staycation. We will definitely be going back. '

'We loved the space the seven of us had in the seaside home - even had room for my morning yoga. Great location for getting into Ventnor on foot and Bonchurch beach was easily walkable. Only downside was the road leading to Shanklin, but that was also handy for our day trips. '

'Het was prettig vertoeven. Zo zijn de kamers vrij geluidsdicht en erg schoon. De bediening erg vriendelijk. Het ontbijt was superlekker naar mijn mening. Hotel is gunstig gelegen aan een rustige weg dichtbij het station en de winkelstraten.'

'We were the first guests Jackie had had since Covid for several months. We had a large room on the ground floor with a small ensuite. Breakfast was in the basement room below our room. Breakfast, chosen the night before, was brought to our table. The village centre and beach promenade were within walking distance but due to covid the lift to the beach (35 metres below us) was out of action.'

'Superb location, in the heart of the village. Private parking incredibly useful. Owner very flexible on time periods and change over days. Quick response to queries as well. We had an excellent week away. One thing to note is that the stairs are quite steep (being in a cottage, not a surprise) but the more elderly or very the young might need an eye keeping on them. Property refurb is showing its age in a couple of places - but on the whole, it was excellent. Water pressure good, shower good...
