'Helaas hadden wij een vieze badkamer: haar nog in het afvoerputje, danesverbanden in het prullenbakje etc. Of het bed verschoond was konden we niet zeker weten, maar we vroegen het ons af.,Het bed was op zich ok. Het ontbijt was wat beperkt: geen vers fruit. Bediening vriendelijk.'

'Friendly, helpful, excellent staff caring and attentive. Hotel full of character and so welcoming. The room was large,clean and 4 poster bed very comfy. Breakfast was was fantastic,so tasty and filling. Great choice of evening meals, wholesome home cooked food. An enjoyable 2 night stay, thank you Gary and Veronica.'

'It was a spur of the moment stay and i am so glad i booked it. The host was amazing. She couldn't do enough for you. She upgraded me from a single room to a double room at no extra cost as she didnt want the guests above the single room to disturb me. She made me feel right at home. The food was amazing, i had a lovely full cooked breakfast that set me up for the day. The locarion was good to, 5 minutes from the town centre. Train statuon , ferry and beach. '

'A lovely friendly hotel. Very well kept. A nicely decorated room with lovely furniture. Great power shower! The only downside for me was the mattress, it just needs replacing. When you don’t sleep well it’s a shame. The breakfast was lovely, there was a large selection to choose from. A lovely stay!'

'DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE IT IS CLOSED. After a 20 mile day on a walking trip we turned up to find the place closed. On contacting hotels.com they spent 45 minutes trying to find us alternative accomodation and having failed they hung up and never called us back. Left stranded and getting dark we could only find a place 40 miles away available and had to sort transport to and from ourselves which left us £200 out of pocket let alone a massive inconvenience. Hotels.com have still not called us...
