« The nicest hotel I've found in Douglas. Warm welcome, well designed communal areas, great breakfast choice and warm comfortable rooms. The only minus was the odd placement of the TV, high up with a small screen. »

« nous avons louez une chambre à l'hotel Arrandale house, à notre arrivée, surprise, rediriger 100 m au dessus au ashton N°28. surbooking oblige ? ATTENTION afficher 3 étoiles équivalent 1 étoile France. porte de la chambre de 9m2 avec un verrou cassé, moquette vétuste, lits jumeaux à ressort pourris, salle d'eau du moyen âge. il ne change même pas les serviettes pour un séjour de 4 nuits à 650 €, la honte... La direction me réponds vous êtes en période de TT Monsieur... Payer chère est une...

« Lift not in use. Booked before we knew. Main reason we booked as both of us struggle with stairs. Booked through hotels .com. and they state lift not in use overnight. My fault as i didn't check on the hotel site. They did show lift out of action. Lesson learnt. Bathroom very small and dated. Room basic as expected, clean and had kettle etc. Breakfast was included. Juice,cereal, bacon etc. Very good. Asked for a slight change and it was no problem. Delia the lady was amazing. Nothing too much...

« Perfect for a cycling weekend ! »

« Great location. Staff were extremely nice and professional. Just note there are no actual outdoor balconies here, the photos are of indoor balconies which was the oddest thing Id ever seen. The balcony was in the middle of the building facing the open walkway corridor of the rooms opposite so you cant go to sleep wirh the curtains opening hoping that daylight will wake you natrually unless you want those across from you seeing you walking in your PJs. »

« Made to feel very welcome. The hotel was clean, comfy bed and great food. Peaceful location with excellent public transport links to other parts of the island. »

« We had perfect 3 day stay with attention to every detail by the staff. The very traditional hotel had many original features and I would be hard pressed to find any criticisms. My wife and I were both equally happy with our stay. »

« Lovely property at the old mill, quiet with a character. Initial mishap was dealt with promptly with no issues. Ideal place for a long weekend. »
