'We’ve stayed 7 nights at El Sol at a wonderful spacious, clean room with a little kitchen. Communation behorehand about airport transfers was excellent. Unfortunately we had a one day delay (missed our connection flight to Addis), but all was well arranged for a pick up the day later. All staff is super kind and go out of their ways to give you the best time in Ethiopia. We hope to come back in the future. Thank you everyone at El Sol 🙏'

'We booked 2 rooms and requested connecting rooms with double beds..reply from hotel was that we had to pay 50 usd for extra beds. Once arrived none of the requests had been planned and we ended up with single beds. Immidiatly next to the room cargo was handled and the noise and vibrations made sleeping impossible. Beds were trembling... Staff was really not caring, manager ot available while the replies clearly indicated that staff is aware of the noise problems in several parts of the hotel,...

'Dabi Hotel is a good value for money. You don't have to pay $200/night for a nice, spacious room in a convenient location, but you also don't need to compromise your comfort just to save $10. The staff was wonderful, from the front desk staff to the chef who prepares your breakfast to the general manager, Nati, who can work at any international hotel. Dabi would be my choice when I return to Addis. '

'Lovely hotel with great amenity. The breakfast was outstanding. Our room wasn’t the best - neither the fridge nor the AC worked. Also, the room layout isn’t ideal in that there’s no separate bathroom. For couples or solo that’s likely fine, but there’s no private space to dress or undress before entering the shower. Who ever you room with will see you naked! '

'Good rooms, nice staff!! Tried the Spice restaurant 3 times and found the starters overpriced. Also tried all local main courses and LOVED every bite of them. Also the breakfast was very good. Previous reviews below about bad internet almost scared me away full stop but when there I started in the unlucky room with poor WIFI(but there was cable!!) but in my search for another room they showed me 4 others at different floors and sides of the hotel and all had good internet. 'Enkel de lobby/bar hebben een upgrade gehad. Kamer was zeer verouderd met een balkondeur die niet goed sloot en een badkamer waar overal vlekken zaten, zeer verouderd bad/douche. Mijn inziens een overpriced hotel dat de kwaliteit niet levert. Personeel was grotendeels vriendelijk. Echter meermaals gehad dat er na schoonmaken geen handdoekken aanwezig waren. De 24/7 roomservice neemt na 24:00 niet op. Zwembad was groot en schoon. Fijne handdoekenserive. Overall zou ik het niet aanraden. '
