« Room was fine. Only thing I had an issue with was the heating turning itself on. I didn't want the heating on due to it triggering my asthma. Found a way to turn it off though eventually so all was good! It would have been better if there was controllable air conditioning as I was a little concerned from a safety point of view sleeping with the window open as a lone female on the ground floor. »

« Bathrooms badly need upgrading. Caulk between some of the tiles need cleaning. Edge of bathroom door has chipped paint. Old style heaters do not work. Staff were excellent and brought up a space heater for the room. Sorry - cannot understand the questions that are only in Francais »

« Chambre confortable malgré une déco un peu désuète. La localisation est idéale, à proximite des Quais et du centre ville ! Le pub est calme le soir et tres sympa. En revanche, l'isolation thermique est à refaire... on a eu très chaud et il était difficile de rafraichir la chambre. »

« Tres bel hotel moderne et recent. Tres propres et chambre tres confortable et bien insonorisée. Salle a diner au 7e etage tres grande avec superbe vue sur campagne environnante. Cependant, tres loin de toute activite commerciale et touristique. »

« !! BE CAREFUL PRIVACY IS NOT GUARANTEED IN THIS HOTEL !! The manager take the right to enter in your room while you are naked to take you out of the room even if the front desk agreed to give you a late checkout at 12:00. Police has to come to fix this situation. WHERE ARE WE TO PROCEED LIKE THIS IN A 4 STARS HOTEL IN 2023 ? No Apologies from anybody. We are still waiting the full remboursement of the reservation. »

« Very historic hotel, old style but pleasant. Room was big and convenienr. Staff was a bit rude, for example they charge guest staying 2 nights for printing 1 page pdf document, never seen if for last 10 years. Night receptionist not helpfull at all inasked where to buy uk electric sockets. It was very visible that i bothering him. He said rudely not possible before 9am. I went out walk 2 min and shop was selling that. Really could be very good place but this staff do that its just an average...

« Hotel récent, mais quelques gros problèmes si on est la pour affaire. Les chambres sont très "design" et très propres et le personnel est très gentil et réactif. les chambres ont un énorme défaut : on ne peut pas travailler car il n'y a pas de chaise ni de bureau .... juste un coin de table ou est posé la cafetiere qui fait 20 cm de large et un "Pouf"... Bilan, tout le monde est au bar avec son Laptop pour essayer de travailler .... mais au bra, il y a la musique ... Bref, pas tres simple......

« Great service from staff and great facilities. We especially enjoyed the spa and our very comfortable stable room on the upper floor of the hotel with lovely courtyard view. It was my birthday treat and Borringdon even had a card and miniature bottle of gin as a welcome gesture, which was much appreciated. »

« Petit déjeuner pas à la hauteur de l’hôtel,machine à café en panne, très longue attente pour 2 pancakes ,saumon trop salé pour l’autre préparation qu’il a fallu attendre très longtemps. »

« It’s a lovely hotel, well presented and well kept. Nice little things likes dressing gowns, slippers, free muffins and apples! Staff are great, breakfast yummy with lots of choice. Incredible good value for how the hotel is presented and what is there. »
