'Lovely place to spend a few days the owner is really friendly and helpful. Had a great time. Owner even returned a ring we left in the property. Meals provided were excellent and everyone enjoyed them and we really enjoyed the hot tub / sauna. Highly recommended '

'There are only 3 pods, which protects the quiet and peaceful atmosphere. The view is exceptional and a place to truly relax. The pods offer a good standard of living space with a lovely hot shower and a really comfortable bed. The local sheep add an interesting intro to being in the countryside and lovely to watch. The pod is reached by a narrow single track road but this didn’t cause us any difficulties. The location is great for getting most places in the Dales. We will definitely be back. '

'Een week met 5 personen verbleven in Yarn House in Gayle nabij Hawes. Het huis voldeed in alle opzichten aan onze verwachtingen. Veel prachtige wandelmogelijkheden bij Hawes.'

'Wij verbleven voor de tweede keer in deze super engelse cottage. Het staat op een perfecte locatie in het midden van het dorp Hawes. Alle shops en pubs binnen handbereik. Hawes is een ideaal startpunt om de Dales te verkennen. De cottage is zeer compleet en superschoon. Het voelt als een home away from home. Denk wel om alle trappen, hierdoor niet voor iedereen geschikt.'

'This converted barn has everything you could wish for and more. Lovely living room, with a fireplace that can be turned on when it is cold outside. The windows are each a painting with picturesque views. The kitchen is fully equipped. The bedroom also has the same view at the landscape. I think the bed had the best mattress of our holiday. Shower and toilet are downstairs, where we were positively surprised by the water pressure. The outside seating area made the house complete. The host was...

'Incredible location for walking and enjoying swaledale. House is comfortable and well provisioned, fantastic host. Whole place could do with a deep clean though and the mattress is knackered 😂 We had a great time'

'Nice clean cottage in a small village up a hill with several walking routes starting from or passing your front door (check Komoot). Large box filled with information about the neighborhood. Interior is a bit outdated but matches the rental fee. Easy contact with host. Great wifi for the kids One suggestion: install flat ceiling lamps in kitchen and hallway to prevent (tall) people from bumping into them and accidently breaking them...'
