« This was my first time to SML. This cabin was perfect! It was clean and well kept. The view was beautiful. The inlet we were on is a “no wake” which made it perfect for spending relaxing time on the water without a bunch of other boats. I would highly recommend this cabin at SML for a weekend getaway! »

« What a wonderful few days on SML! The cabin is quaint and tucked away in a quiet area which was perfect for us to celebrate our anniversary. Laura was wonderful to work with and quick to respond to any questions. Our well behaved lab enjoyed the dock and there was enough space in the second floor/street-side room for us to set up her crate. The view from the back deck was great and we saw many osprey flying nearby. We would definitely stay here again! »

« We loved the cozy living room and amazing screen porch. There was plenty of space for our two young kids, us, and my sister! There was a huge and super comfy sectional sofa and a great fireplace that we made an awesome fire in with the firewood that the hosts left for us. We had a great time hanging out in the house since it rained most of the weekend and was pretty cold. When it did clear up a little, the view from the dock was gorgeous! Had we not had two small children and our dog running...

« We used this house mainly as a home base for a fishing trip on Smith Mountain Lake. This place was perfect since we could walk right down to the dock on the water and enjoy all the great views. Everything in the house was in good working order, which is always important. The chairs and couches were clean and comfortable. The master bedroom was very spacious and the other bedrooms were more than adequate. All the rooms were clean. Again, for me, everything worked as expected, and the outside...

« Had a great extended holiday weekend stay at Stripers Landing. The condo was perfect size for 2 people and fully stocked. Not only is the condo great but the amenities are plentiful including the pool, outdoor games, fishing, docks and access to grills for dinner or just s’mores. Contact with the host is easy and most pleasant. Close to restaurants and outdoor activities like Putt Putt or just getting local ice cream. (Homestead Creamery is a must!). I want to visit again real soon! »

« The Cabin is cute, cozy and perfect for the 4 occupancy limit. It’s right on the water and the lake was clear and soo inviting. The coolest most convenient store, The White House convenience store was within 10 minutes and offers everything you need to stock up. I can’t wait to go back to the cabin. »

« Property was spacious and views were beautiful! Plenty of space for my family. The house could use some upgrades, but as Scott has mentioned, the price then goes up as well. And you are in a beautiful location, and did I mention the views?! While it is a steep climb down and back up to the water, you're right on the water. There is a canoe and paddle boat, which we used on our stay without a problem. We did buy our own life jackets at a Walmart. The Foosball table was a hit for our family....
