« We had a wonderful stay. The house is very warm and welcoming, it even included a bottle of wine in the fridge. The location is great with quick access to downtown Mt. Vernon and a nice drive to Anacortes. We loved the hot tub and looking up at the stars at night. at noght. »

« Was already nice and toasty inside which was wonderful since it was freezing outside. All instructions were easy to follow getting there and inside the cabin. Very clean with a little binder that had details on anything we’d want to know. Everything stocked inside that we could need so that was a nice surprise. TV outdated and very slow, that’s the only small gripe we had. »

The cabin is dog-friendly with its fenced yard, and it was just a short walk to the public trail down to the shoreline of the river. »

Enjoyed walking in the snow through the neighborhood and on a local trail and also appreciated the local store. « Great spot, and a wonderful place to stay with your spouse, we enjoyed the spot and the layout and amenities. Was very hot at night with heat off and ceiling fan on high, even so we had to have both loft windows opened enjoying the winter breeze. Wifi is absolutely terrible. Very hard to stream anything. I could suggest to owners to upgrade this. Hot tub was excellent. Maybe a second suggestions is to have a some basics like wine glasses, however the host was prompt to bring some to us. ...

« Our stay was during the rainy month of late October and even though the weather was drizzly. The surrounding trees allowed us to enjoy the outside space as much as possible. Trips to the hot tub, outhouse, and outside kitchen were protected from the rain drops by the majestic canopy. The inside space was the perfect respite from wind and rain. We enjoyed our escape from home. »
