Peaceful cottage farmhouse with firepit, 5 minutes from reservoir

Feel refreshed when you stay in this gem. Small farmhouse, wooded area with tiny farm on property. Currently two chicken coops and one medium sized barn. Chicken coops are occupied with pet/egg laying chickens. Barn is empty, future may include goats. This small cottage/cabin, is surrounded by nature. You will possibly encounter the wild animals that call this area home. Nothing big or scary. Enjoy feeling secluded while also being 15/20 minutes from food and shopping. 5 minutes from reservoir. Enjoy the two kayaks included in back of house, to take to boat launch 5 minutes down the road. Perfect for bird watching, there are many different birds all around us.

Cute house, a bit remote
Nicely appointed cute house. Plenty of room, very quiet. It's a bit of a drive to anything but that was a minor inconvenience. Has well water but host provides bottled water to drink. Walking the dog was easy.

Great Place To Relax
The property is set back off a quiet street on a hill adding to the relaxed feel. It is perfect just to relax and have a fire in the fire pit. The owners do pay attention to details in the comforts they provide. It is a great place and provides a country feel. I would rent again.

Lovely country cottage
We really enjoyed our stay, this is a very clean and homey cottage. The kitchen is lovely, well equipped and the eggs and coffee station were a nice bonus! The king bed is super comfortable which made me really happy. My only criticism is the ourdoor spaces could use a little updating but over all the stay was still a 10 for us. Thank you for everything!

Amazing stay
This little farmhouse was absolutely perfect for us. From the time we pulled around back to park, we felt welcome. The back yard is set up with different seating areas. The house is so cozy. I Ioved all the little personal touches. There's even a basket of items in the bathroom in case you forgot your toothbrush or toothpaste. I want to go back in the fall so I can appreciate the outdoor areas more. It was in the 90s during our stay and too hot for a fire in the fire pit. Highly recommend!

Relaxing getaway
From start to finish the hosts of this property made it one of the best choices I have ever made when choosing a place to stay. Hosts are very prompt to respond to any inquiries and requests. Everything about the property was very well thought out. Although the house looks small on the outside it was still spacious on the inside and was very comfortable for our family of three. If you forget any supplies or toiletries during packing then chances are the hosts have you covered. Property is away from the stress of the city In a very peaceful area making it possible to relax and enjoy life. Despite the rural neighborhood it is still a short drive from the shopping experience known as Belden Village. There is plenty to do in the area and the hosts even provided pamphlets with recommendations of activities in the area. Although I do not have any pets I still took notice that this property supplied water and food bowls for pets so I am assuming it is pet friendly but I would contact the hosts first. I would definitely recommend this property and would love to stay here again.

Welcoming with Thoughtful Touches
The home was cute and clean. It was nice to have a full kitchen and the little touches left by the host were so thoughtful. It was great to have fresh eggs left from their chickens water and condiments. The outside was a relaxing place to have coffee and watch the birds and squirrels. I would definitely recommend this property!

Perfect weekend away!
This charming farmhouse had everything we needed!! The atmosphere was perfect. The neighborhood was beautiful and quiet. We were lucky enough to be able to catch a glimpse of the northern lights our first night. We loved being able to watch all the birds go to the feeder next to the window in the kitchen, it made for a perfect morning. Cant wait to book this house again! Definitely a new favorite!!
