« the casa is up a road away from the town so you have to get a taxi to anywhere except the tarabita to the waterfalls. The environment is lush and beautiful. The room of the cabin was spacious and clean and comfortable. The first night I stayed there was an accident which knocked out power to Mindo for most of the day, I think the water heater was electric and thus there was no hot water. The staff were very nice and helpful. I did not take meals at the casa so can’t comment on the food. »

« Nous sommes arrivés tard après avoir fait plus d'une heure d'autobus à partir de l'aéroport Quito. Nous avons été très bien reçus. Nous avions choisi cet hôtel parce que nous devions prendre l'autobus le lendemain matin tôt et il est effectué très bien situé, soit à 5 minutes à pied du terminus. Le déjeuner offert est assez de base mais il ne coûte que 2,50$ par personne. Je recommanderais cet hôtel pour un court séjour. »

« The Casa Gangotena was perfection! The hotel itself is beautiful and the staff was gracious and attentive. We stayed in a very comfortable, large room with a spectacular view of the Plaza de San Francisco. We enjoyed breakfast and a wonderful dinner at the hotel and loved that the menu included local cuisine. Plus, the prices were reasonable - we would have easily paid twice as much at home for a meal of the same caliber. You also shouldn't miss a late afternoon cocktail on the rooftop! »
