Villa with Private Pool in a Patio Garden

"Cuba Libre" is in the small rural village of Pago Del Humo. Within walking distance to the village of Pago del Humo where there are 5 very good bars a restaurants, a mini supermarket, pharmacy and an excellent bus route to the surrounding villages and beaches.
Outside there is a private patio garden enhanced with citrus trees and bougainvilleas. The kitchen door opens onto a patio terrace with a table and six chairs and overlooks the pool. There is a Barbeque. The pool is 8m x 4m with shallow Roman steps to get in easily. There are sun loungers and umbrella. The patio is south facing and gets the sun from early morning to late at night. The villa is surrounded by a wall which gives you complete privacy. The pool is for guest use only. The neighbors are Spanish.
Inside Cuba Libre, there are 3 bedrooms 2 bathrooms one bathroom is ensuite, a large sitting room with fireplace and a fully equipped kitchen. There is also central heating and air conditioning. A wood-burning stove adds warmth and charm to the villa during the winter.
The villa is ideally located for you to visit numerous places of interest in the region but you will need a car. The village shop, pharmacy, restaurants, and bars are a few minutes by car or a 15- minute walk. The Blue Flag Beach of La Barrosa is 15 minutes by car. Also nearby is an undeveloped beach area with sand dunes. The traditional Spanish town of Chiclana is a 10- minute drive with plenty of restaurants, shops, and markets. There are several golf courses in the area. Cuba Libre is ideally located and is the gateway to many places of interest.
This area of Spain offers all modern amenities but has not been commercialized.

Heerlijk verblijf!
Een mooie en schone villa met een heerlijke tuin met zwembad! Wij hebben een top verblijf gehad! Met een auto ben je zo bij allerlei leuke steden en dorpjes. Aanrader!

Very comfortabel and quit house.
We really enjoyed our stay. We were very inpressed with the welcome we had, even the fridge was stocked with some food and drink. There were towels for the bathroom and towels for the pool. What we loved was that there where not a lot of tourist in the neighberhood, you are really among the Spanish. From here we visited Sevilla, Gibraltar and Cadiz. The pool was a nice place to cool down. We had a fantastic time and we will be recommending this place to oud friends and family. IT WAS TOP !! 😁 👍👍

Centraal gelegen comfortabele villa
Een fijne tijd gehad in deze villa. Hij is centraal gelegen op 1,5 uur rijden van Sevilla, 25 minuten van Cadiz en 1 uur van Tarifa. Supermarkt en strand op 10 minuten rijden. Het heeft een mooi zwembad en een fijne BBQ vlak naast het schaduw terras. Deze hebben we veelvuldig gebruikt. De keuken is compleet en we werden verwelkomd door de beheerster Leigh die al wat levensmiddelen voor ons het ingekocht. Ze is hulpvaardig en reageert binnen een paar uur. De wijk waarin de villa staat is minder aantrekkelijk. Ook de laatste 500 m van de toegangsweg is slecht berijdbaar. Door de beperkte ruimte om te keren is het aan te raden om een niet al te grote auto te huren.

Lovely little villa which was absolutely perfect for our family of 4 (2 adults plus two very tall older teenage boys). Extremely clean and well appointed. Very quiet and peaceful. A 30 minute drive from Cadiz but lovely beach much closer.

A welcome return to Cuba Libre
This was the second year in a row we have stayed at Cuba Libre and we were slightly concerned that it wouldn't be as good a holiday as our first. We needn't have worried as there is so much to do and see in the area and further afield (you will need a hire car to get to the villa and explore). The villa is totally brilliant for our family needs - amazing pool and BBQ area that we all love, secure high walls and gate that ensure our children are safely contained and we can relax. Peaceful and tranquil with only chirping birds and the occasional rooster. The villa is very clean with an extremely well equipped kitchen and lovely living room with a great TV with Sky channels. It's close to amazing beaches and lovely restaurants and we had great days and evenings out in Seville, Jerez and Cadiz. We love our holidays here and it will be hard to replicate the relaxing time we spend here anywhere else. We will be back again I am sure. Thanks to owner Berna for being on the end of a phone to cheerfully fix any small problem we have/had. I don't think anyone could ever regret booking this great villa.

Ten days in Cádiz
Ten comfortable days in Cadiz in a house that without excessive luxuries ends up being very comfortable to be with the family. The wonderful porch and a functional barbecue and the pool are the best things in the house, although the hammock mats need a little maintenance. The rooms are the right size, the beds are comfortable and all have air conditioning, which ends up being necessary many nights. The kitchen can be the weak point of the house because the furniture is quite deteriorated. Finally, indicate that we were negatively surprised by the lack of cleanliness and the clutter of some areas as well as the fact that no one showed up at check-in or checkout.

Nice and pleasant stay
The whole property was quite clean. Relaxing and quiet place surrounded by other properties but the house was really tranquil. You could only hear the birds, cocks and dogs. The house was nicely fresh and all the rooms are provided with air conditioning system. The outdoor dining area next to the pool is quite pleasant and convenient. It is the perfect place to disconnect and relax. The owner was always attentive to our questions and requests.

Most Relaxing Holiday Ever!
We loved Cuba Libre, it was fantastic. Everything was clean and the villa very well equipped, with lovely fluffy towels, a great coffee machine / BBQ and a beautiful pool to name just a few things. The area was secluded, private and peaceful but was so close to beautiful beaches and lovely restaurants. We hired a car which was required and enjoyed visits to Cadiz, Jerez and the stunning Seville. Overall we loved our 2 weeks and hope to return!

Arrivati a notte fonda,abbiamo trovato abbastanza bene la villa con l'aiuto del navigatore,non c'era nessuno ad aspettarci, data l'ora tarda,comunque er tutto a posto.villa molto bella,piscina fantastica,però dobbiamo dire alcune cose:1 la famosa assistente Romina non l'abbiamo mai vista,2 la pulizia della villa sua all'interno che all'esterno non era fatta bene,3 c'erano formiche ovunque,dentro e fuori la casa 4 abbiamo cercato la sign.Romina perché l'ombrellone esterno era già rotto ( prima del nostro arrivo) poi vi è stata una incomprensione perché era la base che sorreggeca l ombrellone rotta.5 abbiamo chiesto invano asciugamani di ricambio ma non ci sono mai arrivati..COMUNQUE NONOSTANTE QUESTI INCONVENIENTI IL TEMPO E IL MARE MERAVIGLIOSO CI HANNO FATTO VIVERE UNA SPLENDIDA VACANZA.SPERIAMO CHE ALLA PROSSIMA LE CISE SI SISTEMINO.UN SALUTO ALLA ASSINTENTE "VIRTUALE" ROMINA

Todo lo que necesitas para unas vacaciones sensacionales
La casa es espaciosa y está muy bien equipada. La piscina exterior es estupenda, con sus hamacas, su ducha y todo lo que necesitas para pasar unos días estupendos. Por ponerle alguna pega, el acceso en coche es por caminos de tierra y puede resultar un poco incómodo. Pero la casa lo compensa.

Hemos pasado unas estupendas vacaciones en familia en cuba libre. El alojamiento dispone de todo lo necesario, incluso de trona y cuna para nuestro bebé. Lo mejor del alojamiento es sin duda la piscina y la ubicación ya que se encuentra a pocos minutos en coche de diversas playas y centros urbanos.

La casa está muy equipada. Con todo lo necesario, un 10. La piscina muy limpia y con sol durante todo el día. Hemos disfrutado muchísimo de la casa. La atención tanto del propietario como de la persona encargada de la entrega de llaves ha sido en todo momento excepcional. Buena estancia
La casa es muy maja, cómoda, todo en la misma planta. Mobiliario muy bien y cocina completa. Está muy bien cuidada. Zona ajardinada bonita y piscina muy chula, pero en días de levante se ensucia muchísimo. La casa está en una urbanización pero no hay zona urbanizada, así que sin coche es imposible ir. Eso sí, el acceso desde la autopista es fácil y rápido y te permite moverte perfectamente para ir a cualquier zona de playa. La más cercana, la Barrosa, está a unos 10 - 15 minutos. La entrada a la casa bien, nos dejaron la llave guardada y pudimos entrar cuando llegamos, eso sí como ya hemos dicho hizo levante y tuvimos que esperar a que viniesen a limpiar la piscina, aunque fueron muy rápidos. Un día nos levantamos sin luz (toda la urbanización) y es un problema porque al ser agua de pozo no funcionaba la bomba y no teníamos agua, aunque a las horas estaba solucionado (fue culpa de la compañía eléctrica. Lo que no me gustó fue que la persona que teníamos de contacto no se preocupó de si se había resuelto la incidencia o no. En resumen, a pesar de algunos problemillas fue una estancia muy satisfactoria.

La descripción y las fotografías responden por completo a la situación de la vivienda. Está dotada con todo lo necesario para unas vacaciones tranquilas y desconectar. La casa es cómoda y te adaptas desde el primer momento, está pensada para vivir unos días de tranquilidad. A 10 o 15 minutos en coche puedes encontrar centros comerciales, ... también la playa.

Lovely stay
We enjoyed our stay at Cuba Libre very much. Particular plus points for us were the pool and the privacy and oleander bushes and jasmine of the pool area with the outdoor dining space. The windows have insect screens, which keep out the bugs very efficiently. The kitchen is well-equipped for cooking and eating in and there is air conditioning in each bedroom and the living room to make life comfortable. Berna was most helpful in providing all the information we needed as was Ross. A couple of minor things - it would have been helpful to have some instructions on the microwave as the markings on it had been almost obliterated but we worked it out in the end. It would have been good to have had a fitted bed sheet that actually fitted the mattress on the bed (it kept coming off in the night) and synthetic fabrics are not comfortable in the heat. Nothing to do with the property, itself but the number of barking dogs in the development is difficult to ignore. Having said this, we would be happy to return in the future.
