« Le store du velux laisse entrer la lumiere qui commence a 4h du matin en Angleterre en ete, mais nous etions deja reveilles car on entendait clairement les ronflements de la chambre d`a cote, et a ce propos, l'isolation phonique etait tellement mauvaise qu'on croyait avoir des fois les voisins dans notre chambre/S.d.B. En ouvrant le velux, toutes les odeurs de la ventilation de la cuisine entraient dans la chambre car c'etait juste en face. Le long cheveu qui n'etait pas le notre est reste...

« Nous n'y avons fait qu'une halte d'une nuit en remontant de l'embarcadère de Plymouth et sommes donc arrivés aux alentours de 21h. Nous n'avions pas dîné et il ne nous a pas été possible d'avoir un repas, le service étant terminé. Nous aurions dû dîner sur le bateau, nous le saurons la prochaine fois ! Nous avons apprécié l'atmosphère de cette auberge qui garde encore toute son authenticité et avons pu apprécier, au réveil, la vue sur la rivière Dart de notre bow-window (chambre "Dart"). »

« Staff went out of their way to make sure your stay went smoothly , & that you were happy with your room etc , very friendly cosy happy atmosphere … outstanding service ! Our Family room was lovely , very comfortable with everything you needed for your stay . Plenty of tea, coffee, water, milk & lovely biscuits layed out on display . « My partner and I stayed here for an impromptu night over and wished we had stayed for longer now! The staff were so friendly and the food was incredible, there was a real homely feel to the place and the grounds are stunning. Easy parking too which is a plus. It’s only a 3 minute drive from a petrol station too. We recommend: - ordering the “ultimate burger” - saving room after dinner for one of their ice cream sundaes - ordering a local cider and sitting on the swing bench in the garden »

« Simply amazing! Spacious, comfortable, beautiful finishing touches throughout, fully equipped kitchen, easy parking, masses of wardrobe space, and generous sized bathrooms. Centrally located for the shops, beaches, pubs, restaurants and the railway station. Even when we had a small issue with the hot water, this was resolved by a quick phone call and dealt with immediately. We never visit the same place twice but in this case, we would make an exception. »
