« This cottage is more spacious than it looks. We had a family Christmas together and there was plenty of space for everyone and lots if different areas to spend time in. The cottage is extremely well equipped, and we cooked Christmas dinner. There is a garden area, but it is not directly outside the cottage, it is a large area and our grandchildren had a lot of fun playing in it. All beds were comfortable with clean linen. We know the area well and the cottage is 2 miles from Slapton village...

« This is a perfect little place to spend some time with what can only be described as one of the best views in the country. Watching the river wake up each morning and the twinkling of Dartmouth at night with a sound track of tawny owls and the toot of a steam train, this is a holiday for the senses. The cottage has everything you need for a comfortable stay and the location is well serviced. « The bedrooms were perfect for 3 or 4 friends to share. The kitchen had everything needed. Its almost next to a pub with other lovely pubs within 10 mins drive. It was quiet and peaceful. »

« The house is perfect for a couple and dogs. It’s location is excellent, there is a park and sea walk, literally a few minutes away, and an amazing walk down to the dog friendly beach. The harbour and restaurants is a 10 minute walk away. The house is lovely, very light and airy with an open plan downstairs, leading to a private garden and patio area. It is also very quiet, just birds singing. I would strongly recommend this property in Devon. »

« This cottage is really lovely. Great location, nice host and has everything needed for a holiday. The pub in the village is a minutes walk and serves nice food - what more coul you want. We stayed in November but I would like to visit in spring or summer as the garden looks a great place to sit and have a glass of wine. »

Bathroom had great shower with plenty of hot water . Quirky Brixham stairs . We would definitely stay here again as everything Brixham has to offer is within easy reach . »

« We had a lovely 2 week holiday at Oyster cottage in Shaldon, everything that was promised in the description was there. A central position in the village, a 2 minute walk to the beach, cafés, pubs and restaurants all within walking distance. The botanical gardens are well worth a visit as the views are wonderful. The craft fair on the green was a lovely surprise. The little ferry between shaldon and teignmouth was a way to visit the nearby town but walking is also a possible option. A day trip...

« Nice, clean cottage furnished to a high specification which is well of the beaten track. Family friendly with a large communal swimming pool and games room and outside play area. There is a PodPoint 7kw charging post which is charged at a very high price if you want to use it. Consequently, there were at least 4 EV/PHEVs parked on the parking lot but nobody used it. »

« We enjoyed a super sunny weekend, maximising the chance to walk the dogs on the beach and relax at the property. It has everything you need for a home from Home stay, with a great equipped kitchen we had no need to leave at all. »

« L'hôtel est très bien placé (à 2 minutes de la gare et du centre), simple et propre. Petit inconvénient pour la salle de bain partagée : au 1er étage pour une chambre en rez de chaussée (néanmoins, présence d'un lavabo bien pratique dans la chambre). Le petit déjeuner est très correct (choix entre anglais et continental, fruits frais,...). Intérêt particulier (aux beaux jours) : une piscine à l'arrière, dans le jardin... Bon rapport qualité-prix... Je n'hésiterais pas à revenir. »

« We had a wonderful weekend enjoying the facilities and comfort of the property. It was a great winter venue but would like to return in the summer when we could enjoy the outside space too. »
