« A gentle getaway - a cosy beautifully equipped house literally around the corner from the beach and the village shops and pubs. Really quaint and pretty. Perfect for dogs - although, no doors downstairs to contain them and no stair gate to keep them from exploring. Our dogs loved being able to patrol the stairs and landing!! They’re not allowed upstairs at home!! Ness cove is a five minute stroll away with a smugglers tunnel to the rugged and lovely beach. Great for cold water swimming at high...

« The house is perfect for a couple and dogs. It’s location is excellent, there is a park and sea walk, literally a few minutes away, and an amazing walk down to the dog friendly beach. The harbour and restaurants is a 10 minute walk away. The house is lovely, very light and airy with an open plan downstairs, leading to a private garden and patio area. It is also very quiet, just birds singing. I would strongly recommend this property in Devon. »

« We had a lovely 2 week holiday at Oyster cottage in Shaldon, everything that was promised in the description was there. A central position in the village, a 2 minute walk to the beach, cafés, pubs and restaurants all within walking distance. The botanical gardens are well worth a visit as the views are wonderful. The craft fair on the green was a lovely surprise. The little ferry between shaldon and teignmouth was a way to visit the nearby town but walking is also a possible option. A day trip...

The owners have gone to a lot of trouble furnishing the cottage to the highest of standards.... every comfort has been thought of and levels of cleanliness are high. It doesn't matter what type of weather is going on outside, the cottage is still lovely and warm. We will definitely be back. »
