'Wij waren op doorreis en hebben 2 nachten in dit hotel verbleven. Inchecken ging vlot bij behulpzaam en aardig personeel. Het gebouw is oud maar de kamer, bedden en badkamer waren schoon. De afvoer was niet al te best waardoor het water in het bad niet goed wegliep. De directe omgeving is niet interessant. Ik zou hier in de avond niet rond lopen. Over het algemeen kan je hier prima overnachten voor een lage prijs.'

'Wonderful hotel! We stayed with two of our adult children and loved it! It falls perfectly between the French Market and Bourbon street. There's so much history there. It's small, since it was built in the 1800's. If you're looking to stay in an authentic New Orleans home, this is it. If you are looking for a modern hotel, this one is not for you. 'Melrose Mansion is a great place to stay in, if you are visiting New Orleans. The rooms are very nice and spacious and have a great look & feel.
