Hôtel Birchwood Farms, Harbor Springs

« Historic old inn Carrie’s old world tradition. Very nice place to stay, except for lack of ventilation. Portable heater was blasting upon arrival without need. In looking for AC in order to cool room down, there wasn’t one. We understand the nature of the place (and liked it), but there were no screens on windows and did not feel it wise to leave windows open at night. SW facing has us wondering what happens to this (small) room during summer/fall hotter months. Charming place and we did enjoy...

« Hotel was dated. Staff was friendly, upon check in we asked if we could upgrade. The clerks response was you already have a room. I said yes but were looking to upgrade our room, confused the vlerk again teminded us we already had a room reserved. We gave up as not to cause mpre confusion »

« We had an amazing stay, then right before we left the city we were trying to find our daughters phone, when i went to call the hotel they had already left a message saying they found it and her stuffed animal. They went above and beyond. »

« Property was in a good location . Walkable to the lake.Nice staff .Breakfast was good. Parking was a bit difficult, though there was space the spots are in an awkward position. Room was neat overall but there were many insects in the room especially behind the curtains. »

« The only thing I didnt like was the dispensary right in the parking lot. But other than that it was an amazing hotel. I wish the breakfast was more hot foods like eggs And such though. »
