« We really enjoyed our stay at Emerald Pines. The property was clean and well-kept. The walk to the beach was about 2 minutes and while we didn't end up spending a day there, we were assured we could. We just love Oscoda Beach and Shoreline Park (for Tony's Tacos!) so we spent our beach time at those locations. It was a colder week than usual so we spend more time indoors and didn't have any complaints about the cottage. »

« This lovely cabin is right on the water and its view is stunning in all weather. The owner is a kind and caring man who ensures you are comfortable and will provide assistance quickly if needed. The cabin is quaint, comfortable and welcoming with everything you need except for a few items. You can’t miss with this listing! Great family cabin! »

« Everything just as advertised, clean and quiet property in a nice safe neighborhood, stayed there with a 21 foot bass boat, easy to get it in the driveway and keep it plugged in overnight. Will definitely stay again the next time I'm up that way. »

« We loved our stay! The location was perfect if you want to be downtown. There were many amenities that a lot of VRBOs don't include. The coffee bar was a huge feature for us, as was the large dining table we could all gather around. My checklist included a fireplace and a loft. My kids love traveling with a loft. The beds were incredibly comfortable, too!! »

« Very clean and accommodating for furkids. Had plenty of supplies for our weekend stay and some extras not listed like a Keurig and cooking spices, etc. I have stayed in places where they only leave one roll of toilet paper and you are forced to go to town for garbage bags etc. one of that here! »

« This is my second time staying here. My son and I had a great time exploring Caseville and Port Austin. This a great place with plenty for kids and grownups to do. I’m sure it’s great in the summer but it’s also great in the winter. Can’t recommend it highly enough. »

« Booked this property for an annual summer vacation with family. We were a group of 6 adults, 4 kids and we had a great time. Loved how the yard was fenced in so the kids could play, the additional bunkhouse allowed for privacy and extra space, and it was very clean. Check in/out process was smooth, the owner checked in via text periodically, lots of games and extras for the beach provided. Would definitely recommend! »

« We had a pleasant experience. The only problem was when we moved a fire pit closer to our cabin because the are was vacant (5 fire pits only 8 cabins, which needs to be addressed). The man who checks on the property came over and stated he drove by to talk to us earlier, but we were not at the cabin, which (a) seems like stalking and (b) his tone and the way he was leering at my daughter in law were not appreciated. If we stay next year my son and I may just kick his ass....we were tempted to...

« I stayed at the keeper's house on Charity Island in mid-August with my parents, daughter, and nieces (ages 8-10). It's such a unique stay and very peaceful. The house is spacious and fairly well stocked, though we spent most of the time outside. There are two beach areas- one rocky and one sandy- and the water is shallow (<4 ft) quite a ways out, which was perfect for the kids.
