'We hebben een zeer leuk verblijf gehad in Faringdon. Het personeel is zeer vriendelijk, lekker ontbijt, zeer goed diner. Er is een heel leuke binnenplaats waar we jammer genoeg door het slechte weer niet echt gebruik van hebben kunnen maken. Ook een gezellige coctailbar en een pub aanwezig. Privéparkeergelegenheid is ook zeer handig. Propere kamers en een zeer ruime badkamer. Goede uitvalsbasis voor een bezoek aan de Costwolds, Bath en Oxford. Aanrader!'

'We are visiting from Australia and this place is absolutely awesome! Amazing location yet within walking distance to pubs / restaurants and town centre. Incredibly quiet being in a country setting and lots of opportunities for walks by the river. The staff were welcoming and friendly and we were able to have breakfast outside in the lovely garden. We felt well looked after. Highly recommend!'

'Was here for a 2-night stay for work. Free parking on drive of property, take care coming out, as restricted view of road. Greeted by Sigrid who was pleasant and provided good local information. Mini fridge and table on landing with snacks (need to pay for them). Also in fridge was fresh milk for tea and coffee in your room. My room was lovely with ensuite and seperate toilet (in room). Toilet was quite small (I am not small). Desk and chair to work at in room, as well as good TV. Internet was...

Designet var flott, sengene gode, dessverre var det en del støv i de øverste køyene (firemannsrom) og opplevelsen forøvrig ble ødelagt av elendig luftkvalitet - det var varmt og tett, nærmest umulig å sove i. Vi fikk to tårnvifter da vi henvendte oss i respesjonen, men det hjalp dessverre lite. '

'The place itself was fine, but... In the midds of the heatwave we arrived early evening in the hotel and needed a shower. It turned out we only had very hot water and couldn't use the shower. Of course we mentioned this but no proper action was taken. In the morning we asked to fix the problem and where met by a conceited boy who went in the defensieve mode beginning to bad mouth the women who where working the night before. "There were only women in the house: what do you expect" That ticked me...
