This property is set on the first floor with great views over the marketplace and town, perfect for people watching! The living room is a comfortable, homely space, ideal for finishing a busy day in front of the Smart TV tucked up with your loved ones, here the sofa bed can be utilised for alternative sleeping. The kitchen sits to the rear of the property and is well equipped should you wish to dine in one evening. When sleep calls, make your way to the two well-presented bedrooms and the family shower room with a large shower cubicle for your morning wake-me-up shower. The master hosts two double beds so ideal as a twin room or for a couple or couple and a child; the second bedroom is a pretty twin room.

When you’re ready to begin exploring this historic town, begin with a trip to the incredible and famous Alnwick Castle right on your doorstep, one of the largest inhabited castles in the UK and used as ‘Hogwarts’ when filming scenes for the ‘Harry Potter’ films, so it’s a must-visit for any fans. The Alnwick Garden is also an exciting visit with its spectacular interpretation of a formal garden, including the Grand Cascade waterfall, poison garden and largest tree house in Europe where guests can dine in the restaurant. Lilidorei is a fabulous children’s play park in the grounds.

Heading 4 miles east is the picture-perfect coastal village of Alnmouth where there is a gorgeous golden sandy beach. A short drive west brings you to the small town of Rothbury, found nestled at the foot of the Simonside Hills and where the River Coquet ebbs and flows. A 20-minute drive north brings you to the pretty fishing village of Seahouses, explore a great selection of shops, inns, pubs and eateries, plenty here to keep you entertained. Embark on a waterfront adventure and take a boat trip out to the Farne Islands where you can visit a bird sanctuary and spot seals for a truly memorable experience or walk down the promenade to nearby Bamburgh with its imposing castle, RNLI Grace Darling Museum and golf club.
